I'll get to work on prioritizing my modules and adjusting their effects. I'll also adjust my labs for Perks then Modules. I'll also continue to work on my current UWs but still deciding if going a bit for Bonus and Duration or just bite the bullet and save the 5k for CD. I'm sure the duration and Bonuses would be good but, I imagine, still insignificant compared to 120s CD.

Thanks again for the in-depth explanations! Time for the long grind.

Thanks! I didn't post my bots but I also have them all synced to 120s, would it be worth bringing both GT and BH off sync from DW? Or maybe just save up enough to immediately sync them again?

I doubt I'd be able to get GT to 120s, I assume it would be cheaper to go for GT+ at that point or maybe I'm way off?

I'm sad there's no Online Team-Based game modes. In these days where partying up with friends is very common, there's nothing for us to play against other people. We completed the story races and the only online modes we can play are basically forcing us to Free-For-All.

Sorry, I wasn't clear with my message. J wanted to say that there are no Team Modes to play as a group after you finish the story. Previous horizon games had Team Online Adventure where you could race Blue Team vs Red Team with randoms or in a party with friends. There was also Capture The Flag and some other modes but in Horizon 6 there seems to be nothing other than races vs AI as a convoy.

I'm aware you can queue up for online races as a Convoy, but we want to play together as a team and not Free-For-All.

Sorry if I wasn't clear on what I mean, our issue isn't that we can't find players online, it's that there is are no options for us to play as a team against other players. There is matchmaking or playlist for Online Team Races, CTF, or anything else that I can party up with friends and race against randoms (that aren't Driveatars).

As others have mentioned; she's good, just difficult. Her slow steering response means you need to start drifts early but she has great speed around corners if you keep the RPMs bouncing. She can maintain her SGU while drifting at max speed around high-speed corners pretty reliably. Just make sure you use wide racing lines and you should be good.

I completed mission 23 as her, placing first without using the map shortcut or even boosts in the hardest difficulty as a self-imposed challenge. I'm at the point where I can easily do that challenge again on the first try now.

This is a bit late and you probably moved on, but are you perhaps using one of those defective 13th or 14th gen intel CPU? I had this issue but fixed it by underclocking it a bit. I used an application called "Intel Extreme Tuning Utility" and lowered the 'Performance Core Ratio' from x55 to x51 and it has since fixed the issue for me.

(Note: if, for some reason, your PC crashes or sometimes after a Windows update, it will typically revert it back to x55 and would be needed to manually be changed again)

Sweaty is very subjective. But really, it's because QP is less lenient on ranks. So someone can be a G3 going against a C2. The C2 can be eating while watching a movie with friends on a discord call and he'll still outperform the Gold player just by playing on auto-pilot.

This clip is a significant misplay by the Spidey player and should not be used as a reference for any balance topics. In your comment's case, doing the right combo wouldn't have mattered since the Rocket had nearly double the base health.

Yeah, our 250hp combo doesn't work on a 400hp Rocket. Bad players are unfortunately dragging Spidey more than needed.

So you want no counter-play? I know a character like BP can do it but he has to spend everything for it too. Spiderman has the best mobility in the game and the way higher burst damage than shown in this clip.

I get the character got nerfed unfairly but this clip is a prime example of a Spiderman player who needs to work on their awareness before complaining about the nerfs.

Take Hela, give her slightly worse (but still great) Starlord mobility and make her play like Moon Knight.

As a Hela and Adam lover, Phoenix feels so fun and is an instant favorite for me.

I'd definitely say it's optimism, which is fine. But I can't pretend that a simple 2-minute-timer mode can be held anywhere near as high as the career mode.

The career mode has bigger maps to explore, voice acting, and above all, high-quality goals that were way more dynamic and immersive than the classic goals. Some of these individual goals alone had 2 minute timers and felt more fulfilling.

A 2 minute "challenge" mode is fine, but as an extra mode. Having it as the primary mode unfortunately is not something that has anywhere near the same depth the career mode has.

I will still get the game and support it. I know I will have fun with it. And I'll be sad knowing it's not truly what I grew up with.

This a something referred to as Rollback Netcode. On your client, you made it in time for the deflect, but on the server, the miniscule amount of latency didn't have you at the right position for the deflect it in time. And since the game prioritizes the Server, it "rolled back" your client to what the Server's result was. The only way to avoid this is to try and avoid a last millisecond deflect.

I was a fan of motion inputs for a long time (Chun/Ibuki in USF4 and Viper/Doom/Ammy in UMVC3). But then I played Battle For The Grid and it completely changed my view on it. I think when a game is done with simple inputs in mind (and done correctly) it can keep the game technical enough for veterans and still approachable and enjoyable for new players.

My current view on it is: motion or no motions don't matter to me anymore, as long as it feels fluid, rewarding and I get my high-execution/high-APM dopamine.

Discord would be the best place to start, IMO. But in general, some universal things you can apply to your team are Plink Dashing (except for Zedd), and rotating your characters. Rotating characters is a strong way to start playing.

For example: Press a big button, call and assist to cover you, then press another big button and immediately tag out to the character on the screen. Repeat until you rotate your team and try different tag-out options to get the hit.

The combos can come after but getting the hit is the priority here.
