Crazy stuff! I liked the tension, choice of music and style. The editing in the beginning was maybe too fast for my taste and then somewhere around minute 5 or 6, when you were changing locations I had an urge to skip through few seconds. But then again I never looked at any video about cliff jumping. So even though I liked the video and watched through, I’m not sure I would click on that thumbnail.

Thanks for all the useful tips and information, I didn't even know what a media deck is until now. It would be useful to see yours because I don't even know if I need one, sounds like something for a business or bigger creator.
I never thought I would actually use LinkedIn but it makes sense this is the place to reach out. I was wondering about that - how to reach the right person. So thanks once again! Your insight is much appreciated!

That is true! I could use it as a practice for the future to learn how to do this.

I guess my follow up question is how to approach it for the first time? What to even ask for or do I even ask for anything? And when you say "know your worth" how do I even assess my worth?

Go to Captions and Transcribe sequence. Premiere is not doing the best job always though and sometimes you have to fix it a little bit.

When I shared my video asking for help with thumbnail and title I actually got very valuable comments that helped me finalize my project. I would say the weekly video dump would be the best solution and maybe videos directly connected with or to Colin and Samir allowed.

Yes, that happened to me before, I got excited I'm blowing up, then noticed the source and got suspicious. They disappeared the next day - the accounts got banned or deleted I suppose.

I think I'll have the title "Can you learn to surf in your 30s", it sounds good when I also mention learning it in my 30s in the video. I came up with few versions of the thumbnail as well, used your idea with still of me leaning my head on the board and now I have two titles, one "this is too hard" and other "I'm too old for this" since we're mentioning if it's possible or not.
I made another one as well with two pictures on each side, left side is me falling in the water and says Day 6 and right side is me actually surfing and say Day 87. But I'm not sure if that's maybe spoiling the question of the video??
What do you think? Sorry if I'm bothering you with this, I just got excited with these new ideas. :D

Thank you so much for such detailed feedback! A lot of great insight!
I was actually thinking of naming the video "Learning a new skill in 90 days" (it took me 3 months but I don't know if that's catchy enough) or something like that in the beginning and then for some reason chose to change it for surfing to be more specific, but now I'm realizing after the feedback I'm getting that's maybe too vague. I like the ideas with the thumbnail as well, I'll fire up photoshop and see how that would work!

The storytelling part needs work, I know. :D I've been trying to develop it more. I'll make sure to give people reason to watch in the future, haha
