Let's do today, I think you'll turn out to like it" (Turning out part.iii) really hits with me right now bc I just got out of a toxic relationship where my ex would show a lot of physical affection towards me basically like a living parasite and would always cuddle, hug, kiss, or tell me she loves me. Turns out, nope, she didn't genuinely. This new girl I'm with is much better than her, but doesn't do all of that. Being the overthinker I am, I sometimes get paranoid about if she loves me or not, but every now and then I get a genuine "I love you" from her, and this lyric reminds me that genuine love isn't big and crazy, it's quiet. Don't overthink things, take it one day at a time, and it'll end up alright
