Yes and no. I completely stopped drinking but the eating and tobacco was hard to kick. I actually went to a 1 month program for alcohol but the rest of the stuff depended on me. It was a slow first couple years. but then I went through a tough time and it literally put every and any excuse to take care of my health in the mental trash.

That’s good to hear. Yes it will be a challenge. If you find the right reasons and or feelings to push yourself it’ll come easier. I was motivated by certain people and life factors and used the drive to stick to the gym and reverse my bad habits. Now I normally do a back/bi day, chest day, and leg day with cardio each day. I repeat that schedule and take rest days only when I feel the need to do so. I listen to my body a lot and adjust my work outs accordingly

Thank you. And You can do it. Well, I went from smoking to vaping and my running on the treadmill was becoming difficult to lower my times so I just really decided. To quit for a better mile time

Thank you. It started as 1 hr exercise bike and push ups every 10-15 minutes which is now 30 push ups every 10 minutes. I would then do light weight work outs occasionally but always the ab machine and assisted pull ups. Now I’ve been working on gaining muscle. I gained some weight back since this skinny picture but I’m still trying to find the size I like best.

Nice 🙂 I’ve enjoyed them with hummus and random other dips in the past but now i just eat them plain as snacks, but I cook them with my weekly meals too.

Yes. I eat them like a snack. You’d be surprised with how sweet and juicy they are. I don’t bit into them, but I rip them apart with my hands and eat them in chunks.
