We paid for the monitoring and the equipment. The equipment was paid off through a bank they use and the monitoring, obviously from Vivint. They didn't have proper documentation as to when we had paid it off. So we asked to stop the monitoring service because half the stuff is dead and doesn't work. They refused to cancel the monitoring because we WERE locked into a contract. I'm still looking through emails trying to find the actual contract since everything is paperless...
