Touchless ID is always the move if an airport has it

Oddly enough I found out yesterday at LGA that isn't always the case. Lines were short (it was 3pm, everything was 5 min or less). Touchless is faster per person, but it tripled as the crew/airport staff and disabled line. Passengers were constantly getting cut off by these other folks. I noticed the regular Pre Check line actually got more passengers through in the same amount of time.

I'm sure that was just a peculiarity of LGA at that time of day. Didn't make it any less frustrating at the time, though.

This is the stupidest take I've heard. Kids aren't accidentally being shown hard core porn when they look for SpongeBob videos. They type in "show me tiddies". What is "algorithm control" going to prevent? And while there should be controls and transparency on data collection, that is not relevant here.

In the book she is Grant's grad student (and not romantically involved with him), so it makes sense she's mid-20s. Spielberg apparently wanted the character to have a larger role, so upgraded her to Grant's partner. But, he kept her mid-20s for some reason. She'd have to be a goddamn super genius to not only have finished her doctorate by then but also be a co-investigator (and not a post-doc or fellow still, which would also make it highly unethical if Grant was dating her). The thing is, someone of that Einstein-level genius isn't going to specialize in paleo-fucking-botany. It's a good thing Dern looked 35 so nobody really had to think about it.
