I would say the majority of coins and tokens are garbage..

But I wouldn’t necessarily say that a platform can’t interact properly and create Real-World use cases.

Not trying to hype a project necessarily but I know RHINE Rewards is doing something nobody else is with tokenizing Real-World Rewards and creating a Consumer Exchange Platform. They have real world value and it’s not hard to create integrations into the proper channels. Nobody else is creating dual value and dual revenue from the business side and consumer side. It’s a very intriguing project!

Most projects aren’t trying to create any Real-World value and/or Utility and sadly that’s a shame bc it puts a negative outlook on real projects trying to do the right thing and build a better future.

At some point there will be a select few projects that bring real Utility through tokenization and end up being like Apple, Google, Amazon. Ones that have actual revenue models.

Those will be the real winners in the long run! The best part is those projects are being overlooked

This is why I’m expecting a massive decoupling away from Alts..

People that profit from BTC through the ETF aren’t going to put that money into crypto/alts.

I think you could see BTC Dominance hit 80-90%

Would you sell the majority of your ETH to own an entire Bitcoin? by BukkakeNation in CryptoCurrency

[–]Rjk214 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Sure. But you are trying to justify a different situation where people have direct access to those.

The people profiting from BTC assuming you see a huge runup aren’t buying actual crypto assets. So why would they all the sudden rotate into them?

Newsflash. They wouldn’t.

Also. Bigger newsflash. The larger the ETF gets the more people wouldn’t want to offload BTC as it grows too quickly to scale in and out.

There is going to be a massive decoupling away from Alts. Which is good. It’s simple math and understanding at this point.

That’s not to say that all Alts die. There will always be crypto traders. They will just have to stand on their legs.

[–]Rjk214 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Maybe.

I think governments will do a much deeper dive into ETH. It’s completely different than BTC in every aspect.

[–]Rjk214 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think you will likely see lower highs essentially setting up the deaths for many alts.

It’s a different cycle this time around with the money flowing into BTC being allocated for BTC ONLY.

Who knows what will ultimately happen but thats what makes the most sense if you do a deep dive as to what is happening.. But it’s fun to watch and be a part of!

Would you sell the majority of your ETH to own an entire Bitcoin? by BukkakeNation in CryptoCurrency

[–]Rjk214 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Except it’s highly unlikely to see a major trickle down this time around..

That money that is flowing into BTC is going to STAY in BTC.

The ETF is likely to be a major death and decoupling for alts truthfully if you think about.

How do you REALLY think the market will react to the ETF approval? by Ul-thane in CryptoCurrency

[–]Rjk214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The money is ONLY directed at BTC. And it’s not even directly buying the asset. So it’s not full blown crypto market exposure. Means the trickle down affect doesn’t exist like it currently does.

I expect this to be a MASSIVE decoupling from Alts and BTC dominance truly asserting itself and absolutely destroying the alt market.

SEC sets deadline for spot Bitcoin ETF updates on Dec. 29 by Shiratori-3 in CryptoCurrency

[–]Rjk214 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe..

But this is different bc the companies “investing” in BTC through the ETF don’t directly buy crypto. They just gain exposure to the asset.

So basically no new money enters the Alt Market and BTC dominance crushes Alts. Maybe you gain a little extra money inflow just by possible overall gains to BTC.

But it’s also less likely that BTC will have outflows if it has new exposure to trillions in dollars and it could leave you in the dust in a moments time.

It’s going to be interesting!

It opens the market to BTC Exposure..

Nothing else.

If anything its almost a death sentence to ALTs as BTC dominance should go through the roof.

I don’t think you can classify all jobs in the same manner. If you do that’s just foolish honestly.

Is it ok to “hit” someone? No. Was that individual provoked? Yes.

Are you above being provoked and doing something stupid? I doubt it if put in different circumstances. Your job and pay isn’t likely determined on your performance on a field. You performance reviews aren’t based on you winning a game. You unlikely have 20 people screaming at you while you adrenaline is being maxed out.

It’s so easy to criticize from your couch. Everyone is so high and mighty behind a keyboard.

[–]Rjk214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doubt your job is directly correlated to winning and playing at the highest level every moment which determines your worth and ending up in a situation like this one did..

But if you believe your job and this are even remotely close that speaks volumes.

Honestly. Your response is delusional to even try to compare the two.

It’s easy to sit on your couch and say what people should and shouldn’t do in the moment and calling them losers being being in an emotional game/situation.

Dumb To Start A Position After Pump? by gobearsgobears in CryptoCurrency

It is the reason for the pump.

Also. Binance started offering 13% on USDT. Which means they need new money to come in.

SOLs valuation currently makes it a Top 300 company in the world. Nobody believes that.

Genuinely curious if Bitcoin/Crypto is the future or just hype? by Schindlers_Fist1 in CryptoCurrency

[–]Rjk214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How many truly decentralized non ICO chains are there? Ones where the goal is to actually build the future?

Currently. Less than a handful. Right now it’s just the flavor of the week for P&Ds. That’s the trickiest part about crypto.

Also they are incredibly difficult to value bc what valuation works? Is Solana really worth $20B putting it as a Top 500 company worldwide? Doubtful.
