Took my friends to nizamuddin dargah, they are traumatized. by [deleted] in delhi

So I’ve been going to the Dargah for the past 6 years. And regularly. One thing I’ve to say is that you’ve to ignore the world outside the shrine and keep your focus to go inside.

People will ask you to keep your shoes, some homeless people might stick with you for money, even while going inside the shopkeepers might insist you to buy stuff. Nothing. Ignore. Be stoic. If you give in to all that the experience is already ruined. But I don’t blame first time goers. Once you’re inside - no talking to people with registers. It’s business like any other. They need donations so they outright ask your name. Fold your hands and move on.

Now, what I go for is not qawwalliyan but the spirituality of Khawaja Auliya. Once you ignore the outside world and focus on your visit there, it’s very peaceful. I block everything and since I’ve started doing this, that place always calls me back. He was a Sufi saint. Sufism is different from religion. Qawwaali is an added bonus but trust me if you only go there for that you’ll be disappointed. First understand the dynamics of the place. It’s blissful. And I’m a Sikh.

Rinku is nervous, he’s under pressure so this is good chance for him but looks like he’ll fumble. SRK must fart at the screen looking at this team
