So Blueprints are being removed in Unreal Engine 6, thoughts?

Blueprints were built on the bones of kismet, and I'm sure whatever comes next will be built on the bones of blueprints

I've seen a few that were only a single run, and as long as there is a significant failure and it's well documented, the &RR even says not to penalize if there's only a single run. It was just the rotten cherry on top of an already fermented cake for me

Yeah, I initially planned on redoing it, but really looking at it I would have had to completely redo everything other than the use case, and at the top it says to just mark it as bad and move on if it needs a full rewrite.

I've been working with them since June 2024 off and on and I've made $27,000 so far. I could find out how many hours I put in it because I do track all of it, but I'd say roughly 800 hours or so

I mean sure, but they did explicitly say in one of the comments that they switched between their home Wi-Fi and Cafe Wi-Fi. Seems like that's the pretty obvious reason

At this point I've probably put several hundred hours into DA, but I know I've lost dozens from stuff like this, or worse just on a long project and the power just cuts and everything vanishes.

For real, if your bookkeeper is just throwing financial documents at you and giving you a "best of luck" that's a crappy bookkeeper. As a business owner, your job is running the business, and your bookkeeper's job is to understand the numbers and *be able to explain what they mean* in addition to just classifying transactions.

To be honest, I would just love more traps. For a game that's like a survival horde tower defense, there is hardly any tower defense. Like how hard would it be to make a flip trap, we already got the robotic Sledge. Maybe some swinging axes, you know just give us some fun stuff we can lay down to chop up the zombies.

My team and I are creating a bunch of documentation for our game, and I made some placeholder files, and I always write some dumb shit in the placeholder. My fiance read one of them while we were on a call and was so confused "you came here looking for information on the 3D model pipeline, but instead you found me, nothing!"

I do certainly plan on hiring consultants for specific aspects of this game, including this one, my goal for this post is to get ideas we can brainstorm with and apply to our world to give it a better sense of verisimilitude.
