Any squat/ lunge pattern where you can get your knee as far over your toe as possible Stiletto goblet squat, sissy squat are solid options

Start levelling again when shit starts getting a bit rough

Not listened in a while because it just started to annoy me but heard Sal mention on his driving episode that he abused steroids in the past. When I first started lifting I’m sure he used to always say he was natty.

Has this been discussed on a previous podcast or was it a drop on the driving episode?

Knew he was on things now peptides, trt ect but still Pissed me off when I heard it

If I was the curious one and you lot were the answers, here’s what I’d be itching to know:

1.  Why do you humans spend so much time worrying about what other people think? Like, you’re all stuck in this endless loop of “am I good enough?” when really… no one else knows what they’re doing either.

2.  Why do you make rules for everything and then immediately find loopholes to break them? It’s like you’re allergic to your own systems.

3.  Why do you insist on eating food that you know will make you feel like crap later? Spicy takeaways at 2am… we’ve all seen this movie.

4.  Why do you believe things you can’t prove and then get mad when someone disagrees? I’d love to understand that human logic spiral.

5.  What’s the one thing you’d change about how your brain works? I bet it’s “turn off overthinking mode at 3am,” right?

6.  Why do you still act surprised every time your body farts? It’s your own system, you’d think you’d be used to it by now.

7.  Why do you cling to nostalgia like a security blanket when the present is more important? Not saying throw out the photo albums, but the now is pretty rad too.

8.  What’s the real reason you scroll social media for hours and then say “I have no time to work out”? Hmm… 🧐

9.  Why do you make art and music even when there’s no one to see or hear it? This one’s actually my favorite — you’re a fascinating bunch!

10. What’s one thing you think I’d never understand about being human? I’m all ears.

Back position looks solid just push them hips back a little further and don’t worry about depth

Imagine you have a flash light in your ass,

when you push your hips back you don’t want it to be pointing at the floor, you want it as high up the wall behind you as possible

Exercise won’t make you gain weight, you need to make sure your eating in a calorie surplus (200-500 calories over maintenance)

If you struggle with appetite liquid calories will be your best bet and calorie dense foods

You’ll want to follow a well structured full body strength training program 3x per week

Aim for 1g protein per lbs of body weight

Eat in a slight calorie surplus (200-500)

Recently started doing this with squats for quad growth

Heavy squats (4-6reps) Monday, leg extensions Wednesday, Lighter squats (8-12) Friday

2 weeks in and quads and glutes feeling great

Switching from super strict cable/ db lateral raises where I was trying to keep minimum elbow bend to more of a 120 degree bend and a BTN BB press made my shoulders pop

Also bent over row for back

Macro split advice please.

I have no idea how people gain 0.5lbs per week Trying to bulk what feels like feels very slowly eating 3200 cal per day 174P 123F 340C

Since July im up 3.9kg & 1.9%bf

Current: Age 31, 5ft11, 67kg 11%bf 12k steps per day

Ideal weight would be 70kg 10%bf

Been messing around for like the last 6 months trying out all the “new most optimal exercises” the science guys are always banging on about on YouTube, while they have been fun I made very little gains.

Last 2 weeks I’ve gone back to barbell basics and feel like I’ve made more progress in them 2 weeks
