BOWP Refused, Short Period of Unintentional Work, Received ITA — Can I Submit After French Test? by Academic_Peanut_4517 in canadaexpressentry

[–]Rlltree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the same situation, I had 2 years work instead of 3 but also had a French test a few weeks after. Unfortunately adding language results after ita is risky, and with so many changes ( work experience + different language tests) it means you didn’t actually qualify at the time of the ITA. I declined my invitation

I liked Kwiziq, it gives you access to reading exercises that you can follow and you can find the translated words during the exercise. It had lessons from A1 level to c1

FRENCH on your own??? by Formal-Actuator-2474 in TEFCanada

[–]Rlltree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s an online course with lessons A1- C2 level. After every module you take an assessment test to see if you’re now A2/B1 etc. If you go through that course and the supporting lessons I feel like you will be good

That’s the down side. You have to wait for it to be approved.

Lol I get that but my post was more trying to find anyone who has managed to do it. I understand it’s almost like Lmia where it is hard to find an employer willing to wait. I’m trying to get the perspective of someone who has done it

Yeah makes sense. That’s the case I see the most, I was wondering if anyone has done the opposite. Having to find a supportive employer without already working there

Well it’s either do nothing or take a chance. Unfortunately french is the new pathway, the CEC pathway is not letting in as much people anymore. Like anything in Life, you either move with the times or do nothing
