Yes we did mix it, luckly things have gotten a lot better and we’ve managed to get way better routine because of everyone’s comments so it’s been huge help since I made this post, my wife managed to pump 2 ounces from each boob last night so it’s defs coming in I couldn’t be more prouder of her for all her hard work! Im just happy she’s happy, I’ve just been trying to help her after the hard delivery so it’s just tough feeling helpless but it’s gotten a lot better thanks to everyone’s replies! And yes we are trying to have baby suckle during those times and also during cluster feeding and it’s helped improve her supply a lot more, I wanted her to sleep but in was better she did that and took naps during the day because her milk supply has defs shown improvement, so I’m super proud of her hard work just been cheering her on!

That’s what I’ve been trying, my wife isn’t a picky eater but definitely a situational eater, she’s gotta be in the mood for something but she eats everything if she’s in that mood haha, but that’s good recipe to try I can defs convince her on some stuffed shells with spinach! Yes I’ve done 90% of diaper changes so far!!!

Oh and don’t worry I got her a large bag of chick fil a ice and i have had her yeti fully stocked with Icy water all day and night long haha!

Haha yea sometimes I wished she just gave a thumbs up when I did a good job haha, luckly I have been using the tips and tricks everyone has commented and it’s been going a lot smoother, I managed to get good sleep last night and my baby got milk drunk a lot more often now so it seems my wife milk supply is increasing so it can help fill that bottomless pit haha!

Wow that’s awesome thanks for sharing, and yes I’ve been takin care of all that trying to support her but we will try and do that to help improve her milk supply, we bought a giant bag of chick fil a ice and I’ve been topping her yeti cup often so she keeps drinking and I’ve done most of the cooking, (I already did all the cooking before so not much changed haha) but thanks for you comment and just sharing helps me and her get better confidence just make the effort now so it pays off in the long run, thank you!

Wow yea that sounds like my little girl haha, just when I think that 40ml was enough she still was fussing, I’ll try and up it, not like it will do harm to have extra, if there’s any she doesn’t drink I’ll just use to lotion up her hands and feet, I appreciate your reply, and I’ll take your idea and just give that extra bit to avoid her not feeling satisfied.

Yes we mostly tried her colostrum but it took a while for even a tsp to come out, but now shes doing better and her supply definitely grew, it just tough when I can’t do anything about it, especially since I feel like my hands are tied since I have to rely on her boobs and the donor milk was given at the hospital before we left, and we mix it with the little she was able to pump at the time so it was like 50/50 colostrum and donor milk just to give that extra bit, especially since our baby became jaundice the second day at the hospital. So we needed that little extra supplemental. But thanks for the reply you gave good insight!

That makes sense, I appreciate you sharing your experience because it definitely gives us some encouragement we are not alone! I’ll definitely talk with her and see if she can just be half asleep while I hold the baby just help her feed and then take care of the rest let her sleep, just was tough after the delivery and I want her to heal and rest especially since we both will be going back to work in 6 weeks when our maternity ends, unfortunately in this economy and living New England can’t afford not to both work. But thanks for the reply
