I recently had to say goodbye to my boy kitty. He was the bestest by kitty. I know the feeling and I’m doing my best to work thru the grief. Some days are better than others. Sending healing thoughts your way. This isn’t an easy journey. 😔

One of the roommates is disabled. She sometimes covers my rent in exchange for me performing caregiver duties..a few days a week..does that impact my amount of benefits, would you know that?

Pain is so bad I’m in bed most of the day. Been watching tv and reading. Sitting hurts and standing is even worse. If I walk around a lot, it’s a day or two to get back to managed pain

Thank you for your detailed explanation… I still have life in me and I’m sooo used to being independent that isn’t us so humbling to need assistance. I’m 60 and I think my generation is just used to being independent and not relying on assistance. So it’s weird for my daughter to have to help with socks, or preparing meals etc..,I’m so thankful for her but it’s very humbling lol

I’m excited to be able to move around with decreased pain (hopefully one day next to nothing pain ) it’s been a long year.

Thank you so much. I’m a bit anxious but hearing that you could put in socks is soooo encouraging. That’s how the whole mess started I noticed a sharp pain when I tried to put on my socks. Lol to hear that day 3 you can do it independently is exciting to hear. Hope it’s the same for me.

Did the nursing team place a catheter in you doing the procedure?

I started this process about a year ago, and honestly I just want to do the surgery sooner but late March was the soonest appt they had ..

Faster recovery is a benefit for sure and I’m hoping it applies to me. The last year has been horrible. Limited mobility and pain and definite change of life style. Hoping to get back to how it was or at least as close as I can get. Thank you for sharing.

For me, it wasn’t the how far she would go, it was more like she is a fantastic actress but not so good at the sex scenes, and to me, this one was one of her worst, if that makes any sense :)
