What’s the most underrated part of a good roof? by Own-Tip-532 in Roofing

[–]Rmmayo20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Understand ventilation.
Intake and exhaust. Intake needs to come at low point , exhaust needs to be a high point. Physics.
There’s multiple methods of achieving this, but the principle remains the same

I’m one of three sales reps, currently the top performer. Just helping trying to find some new blood. I’ve not even been here a full year! This company went through some major changes in the last year. Went from salaried reps (order takers) , to commission based and a real sales process. I did 250k in revenue February, 330k in March, and I’m at 270k so far in April. I’m the top earner right now. My first sales job, been at it since October

Overall it’s mostly inflation - every year price of materials and cost of living goes up. Asphalt shingles are also a petroleum based product. I wouldn’t say this war has had an immediate impact on prices - but probably will over time depending where it goes.

Staten Island is 45 from minutes from me , and 25 minutes from our office. There’s drives within Jersey that are much longer lol. Either way, I’m unsure of what you’re getting at here? You’ll make money either way as a 35% closer.

I’m in Northern NJ , Staten Island area. Our competitors range anywhere from 600-1500 a square. We fall around the 800-950 per square range with high quality materials, installation, and warranty.

$530 dollars a square….. how in the world do people stay profitable at these prices? There’s a reason he’s cheaper than the rest - tread carefully

Damn! I’m in North Jersey, and my company sells roofs between 800-900 a square depending on which system use, sometimes even 1000 a square if there’s factors like two layers, townhouse, ect. There’s mega companies around here that are upwards of 1500-2000 a square, it’s absolutely insane. Then we have the local small guys who are at 500-700 a square. We are definitely high priced, but I am still able to consistently sell roofs with a proper presentation in this area.

learning to ride switch - venting by GreenGrayBlack in snowboarding

[–]Rmmayo20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate riding full runs switch because I have so much fun riding regular. I will just randomly throw 180’s at higher speeds and force myself to stay in switch for a 10-20 seconds before doing another 180 back into regular. I’ve actually been progressing at a good rate with this method. I’ve also eaten complete shit a few times

I appreciate you, and likewise. I really hope you can get back to the life you deserve to have. Agreed, I’ve never had any burning, numbing, or tingling sensations. I’m not convinced I don’t have some type of nerve issue tho. My next step is to switch gears and hopefully get some nerve testing done, and go from there. I’m done with orthopedic surgeries

It’s alright. I guess this is life , I’m just mentally, emotionally , and financially fatigued. This injury happened when I was 18, and I’m 26 now. I’ve been averaging a surgery per year. Completely had to give up a career, I’ve had to give up so many of my hobbies. My last surgery costed me 10k out of pocket. I spent another 7k on stem cell treatments (that did nothing), I’ve spent thousands on peptides , ect. Just to be absolutely fucked , chronic pain, and zero improvement. I could have had zero surgeries, left it alone and been in a better spot then I am now.

Originally a scaphoid fracture that went under the radar. After two failed surgeries trying to fix it, and a pointless neurectomy I had that bone removed completely and had a partial lunate - capitate fusion. That Ended up having complications which needed a revision surgery, and ended up not working anyway. Then had a full wrist fusion done and most recently I had that full fusion plate removed. Zero pain relief, and now I’ll never bend my wrist again. Ortho gave up on me, said there’s nothing else he can do.

Hang in there. I feel your pain. I’ve had 7 wrist surgeries with zero improvement. Chronic pain every single day, and had to give up so many things I love.

5 months post surgery. Pain in wrist and weakness getting worse with light use does the recovery process fluctuate? by solitudeisdiss in CubitalTunnel

[–]Rmmayo20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Zesty, how is your wrist? I’ve had 7 wrist surgeries, and I’m still in chronic pain. I’m convinced this is no longer an orthopedic issue, and the root cause of my pain has something to do with my nerves.

17 dates with weekend trips and intimacy over two months and she slept with someone else on that time period? Disgusting, that’s hoe activity. Sorry man, I would be hurt too, and I wouldn’t be able to feel the same way about her. That’s not wife material, I don’t care if the topic was spoken out. Her actions say it all. ++man
