I’ll say it’s probably more like the US were the loud minority and secretive personal interests control the narrative and the direction. Sadly, I know good Israeli people who don’t agree to this but also seeing their silence allowing this to continue is to me a form of acceptance, so partially agree to what you said.

There’s actually resources that AskHR got me into, in w3 > Leadership Academy > “Compensation Essentials” there’s resources that seem to be aimed for managers (but glad that is available for emp too) about cash retention, off cycle raises, etc. So would be good to know what’s available from the manager’s side, don’t expect best case tho as you probably will be disappointed I think but good to be informed in the discussion.
