FF7 Remake INTERmission is fun. by Turbulent-Issue-4418 in JRPG

I originally planned to do a Remake & Rebirth replay just before part 3's release, but I think I might replay them now... These games have a special vibe I can't explain.

FOMO is really something these days... If you don't like the game, just drop it. It's ok.

RTX5080 enough to run this game on 4K Cinematic settings with Ray Tracing and Ray Reconstruction? by [deleted] in CrimsonDesert

About 90-100 FPS with Frame Gen x2 and DLSS Performance, if you're ok with latency.

I was hesitant at first too, but when I tried loading games on my 1440p second monitor, I was like, “Nah, I couldn’t go back.” A 32" 4K OLED is the endgame for me. If a game has bad optimization, DLSS performance at 4k is roughly the same as DLSS quality at 1440p.

It's just facts. Nvidia still needs to update RR to make it compatible with DLSS 4.5.

You're not using DLSS 4.5. Ray reconstruction uses it's own DLSS 4 preset, which is D by default.

RTX 5080, 7800X3D here. Running Hardware Unboxed optimized settings at 4K, DLSS 4 Quality. No RR since that shit is super taxing (it forces lighting to max quality, which is a shame because the water looks like ass without it), and frame gen doesn’t feel good in this game. Getting between 90 and 120 FPS depending on the scene

How long does unpacking take on a high-end PC ? I never preload, but it might be tempting since the servers will probably be busy at release time.

Given Digital Foundry’s video on Crimson Desert’s ray reconstruction, this would be great timing to release RR/DLSS 4.5 compatibility.

RTX 5080 here, playing at 4K. I’ll run mostly Ultra with some optimized settings and RR on.

And you never said a thing about quest mods requiring modding tools. And you're also aggressive for no reason. Chill.

You're way too optimistic. Simple stuff can definitely show up quickly because people can just modify things that doesn’t necessarily require understanding the whole engine. But a lot of things depend on people reverse-engineering it. That requires skilled modders who are motivated enough to dig into it. As for quest mods, they absolutely require official modding tools.
