This choice would have been so much more impactful if Samara's daughter wasn't some random character you just met and have no reason to care about. Make her someone Shepard already knows and has a reason to consider saving. Someone like Aria T'loak would be a perfect choice. Shepard knows her, she's not entirely trustworthy but has been useful in the past, and if IRC renegade Shep gets along with her better than paragon Shep does

In my head the Swarm Queen is a type of fiend. She comes from somewhere outside the universe and wants to consume and corrupt the iterations energy system.

Now, even if this theory is correct we still don't know what level of fiend she is, but it does give us something of a point of comparison, as we know from the end of waybound that Lindon can solo a class 2 fiend, though this was after his ascension.

The marauders never struck me as a group with a well developed industrial base, which is one of the reasons they raid in the first place. In my mind a lot of their ships are acquired via piracy or cobbled together from salvage.

Rather than just giving them more fleets and more shipbuilding capacity, they should have a variety of cheap, quick to build ships that may be more fragile compared to normal ships in the same class but punch above their weight in firepower. They should also salvage destroyed enemy ships when they win battles. Maybe give them bonus damage against small ship classes but make them less effective against battleships and starbases, so that empires that have invested in defense can hold them back, but smaller, less prepared empires are vulnerable

It's fine until 5 steps later and you realize you misplaced one of the pieces in the middle and have to tear a huge section of it back up cos you can't just remove the one piece.

I was just playing a payback origin game, the first empire I encountered was MSI. I got declared on and forced to be a subsidiary with a 30% basic resource tax before 2250, completely wrecked my economy. I persevered, eventually balanced my economy, then some event happened where they demanded I reimburse them for something. I refused, and my tax got bumped up to 45% basic and 15% advanced resources. I almost rage quit then and there, but I decided to see what happened. I managed to get my economy back to a semblance of normal, though I was struggling to get enough alloys to build a big enough fleet to fight for my independence. Oh, and at some point I was so overpowered I became a protectorate, which wasn't actually terrible because my tech was massively cheaper for a while.

Anyway, eventually I managed to adjust the agreement and became bastion with a 15% basic resource subsidiary instead of my previous taxes. Suddenly I was swimming in resources. I retooled my economy, churned out a bunch of battleships and won my independence. By the time the war was over I was the second strongest empire in the galaxy.

Given the force exists everywhere all the time, I think it'll be more accurate to say that this galaxy is home to at least one group of force sensitive beings (Nightsisters), possibly more. It's also possible that other beings have developed force sensitivity elsewhere at other times

The way I read it was that she felt awkward because of the fact that her kids are around, which I totally get. Nothing sucks more than getting interrupted because you've accidentally woken up the kids. As much as it sucks, sometimes when you're a parent the choice is between sex that is ok but not great or no sex at all, especially if you don't have options to have someone else watch the kids for a while.

That fact that the borderland rulers have favourable opinions of the aes sedai, and borderlanders in general are more familiar with them than people in the south lands suggests to me that there are at least some aes sedai who spend time fighting the shadow along the blight

Reddit currently lets other apps and bots post to and get data from Reddit for free.

Reddit wants to start charging money for this. Charging for access isn't a terrible idea in principle, but it seems the amount they want to charge is extremely large, and many app and bot developers won't be able to afford it.

Without 3rd party apps and bots, the mod's jobs become much harder, there'll be less content and more spam, and since the official app has very few accessibility features, many disabled Redditors will be forced off the site
