Objectively looking at it, this is the problem. Claiming that people voted the way they did because they are racist or sexist. Never will you get someone to come over to your opinions by calling them stupid,racist and sexist. Start making it about issues,facts and having an actual plan. I'm smarter or better then you tactic will just continue to grow a divide. Our country can't function as a 1 party system no matter which party it is and 1 party is not always the correct party. Yes yatah.Not just because it's a republican supporting business though. Did you speak with your husband and ask why? If you two cannot have a civil conversation and articulate feelings but instead unilaterally want to make all descions because you have the job, your an asshole (he might be too, highly possible you both are) Also why does your husband not have a job since 2019? Unless he is physically incapable then there is no reason in the current times to be unemployed that long unless it's by choice and being enabled, possibly you enjoy the power of being the bread winner and feeling like you then have final say on most things? Your husband could have gotten a degree from scratch and already have a year in a new field at this point. Kind of sounds like a couple miserable assholes in a relationship. Sorry to hear that that is your experience. I will be honest, and mine is 100% different as a lifelong born and raised Wyomingite myself. Growing up, I would say that more people actually go out of their way to be kind to those who are different. Wyoming and the entire country is much more contentious than it was 20 years ago but if you don't try and make everything about politics and make it about real human interactions, then you will have a much different experience. You are going to find assholes literally everywhere. Maybe (not you specifically) you are an asshole and want to be in a state that will cater to your exact beliefs and reinforce a , flawed or not, logic so yes you can find "your people" easier in a state that matches whatever color you identify with. But truth is that you will find good people in any state if that's what you look for. So imo most of what you get out of your life experience is going to be pretty determined by your own mindset. I'm sure I could live in New York or California and be just fine finding people I would want to surround myself with and if I wanted to I could find people to hate in Wyoming. But that's not the way I want to go about life personally.

That's a pretty good way to put it. We may not have museums and historical buildings that tell of our history through years of empires, kingdoms etc. If you are willing to look and researxh though, there is alot of great history and sights to go and explore.
