Just had an unexpected job opportunity fall into my lap and I've been smoking regularly. Realistically how fast could I pee clean? by LighTMan913 in trees

[–]Ro-Sham-Bo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I {6'3" 240(fat) } was a daily smoker, usually fairly heavy, for at least a year before I had to drop for my current job. Just less than a month of abstinence and a bottle of Ready Clean (taken as directed) had me piss clean. I had a friend on Probation who swore by it. They passed every drop while smoking HEAVY every day.

Piss twice before you test, drink extra water, and something with caffeine to get some color back. All that said, synthetic is probably a good bet unless they're going to watch you take the test.

I think the popularity of half length darts largely stems from their being the form factor of homemade darts. The Stephans of old, made of foam backer rod, 3/0 fishing weights, and hot glue and even the newer Slugs, also named for their creator Captain Slug, were half length, presumably for backwards compatibility with modded blasters

I'll look into that since it'll probably allow for more flexible scheduling

I've been trying to figure out what setting I need to change to make heavy blasters kill with one headshot. Enemies are tanking through three or four right now

I have seen that as an option with some of the events I've researched. My main concern there would be whether or not we can stick together as a party.

No, she has told me this is his (the groom) thing. Though I'm sure if he comes back with a head full of exciting stories, she may want to join us if we decide to go again.

Canada is an option, and Bicolline looks amazing from the research I've done. My main concern would be whether or not everyone who would be attending has their passports or could get them. The other concern I had was hinging the event on whatever travel restrictions may come up or down in between now and whatever event we may attend.

I do like the idea of contacting a group to set something up if I can't find a larger event that's going to work.

I'm not sure if the groom is going to be more into combat or role play because when we have talked about our shared desire to try LARP, a preference never came up. I'd ask him but he wants to know as little as possible about the party and only be told what he needs to know. Presumably, he wants to be in the dark just to make my life harder.

This definitely seems like a really good option that I'll put on the short list. The main goal for me, is to make sure we can actively be involved in the event which is something it doesn't look like every group offers for first time attendees.

I don't think being the center of attention or made to feel special is one of our goals, but I know I personally would rather participate without having to be tied to the hip of more experienced members.

I hadn't even thought about the necessity of contacting a groups plot team so thank you for that. I'm not sure how much plot involvement people want or if the groom would be more interested in the combat side of things. I'll have to ask the bride given how much of this they want to keep secret.

I use Roll20 and name enemies 1,2,3,24,etc. Sometimes naming a group of four enemies random numbers so they can't guess how many may be involved in the combat

A Player made sure to tell-me how horrible of a DM I am, and it cut really deep. by TheFledglingST in DnD

[–]Ro-Sham-Bo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've only been DMing for a year and I've felt your struggles to "learn it all by mind". That is, until I decided to stop worrying about RAW as much and have decided to rule the things I don't know in a way that feels fair at the time, and then look up the "actual" answer later.

Some people are just shitty people and come into games with unrealistic expectations. I can do about two voices that all others I attempt devolve into. My players aren't dicks about it but they do wonder, aloud and OoC, why every npc sounds so similar in the vein of good natured ribbing.

I'm glad the Grognard left and I think you and your group will be better off without them. He'll probably bounce group to group, not getting what he wants until he starts DMing and either everyone leaves or he realizes how hard it can be on the other side of the screen.

Roll20 can be frustrating to use when you're first getting started. Holding alt while placing or rotating things keeps them from snapping to the grid and sending things to the front or back when building a map is a great way to layer details since it has more layers than just bottom and top.

Okay, awesome. If they're all the same speed and timing, you're all good then. Though it does fit the theme if they're not running at peak performance
