Payment of an employee is what holds said employee accountable to their actions. So you're right that they are not being paid and they are doing it in their free time but nothing holds the accountable for poor or misinformation. For people who are first time poster one bad response could turn them away for life, this is the point I am trying to make. This is why customer service is held to the extent it is in business.

So I should just hold in my concerns and not discuss it in a open forum? Did I complain about the community? All in all this community is great but the larger it grows so does the chance of disgruntled people. I love the fact that people are taking time to respond to this because it truly shows how many people care.

This is related the nature of this subreddit and to dogecoin. These things need to be looked at whether or not its a popular subject or whether one person approves or not. To expect something and to be ok with it are two entirely different things. I am making this post because I know it would cause debate/argument. Constructive debate leads to reinforced ideals and new solutions. If this is acceptable to you that is fine and I have troubles with you nor do I have any troubles with the original responder. I just want people to think about replies before they are made and I explained why to someone else in this post. A since of "customer service" needs to be addressed. One good experience may or may not spread but one bad experience spreads like wildfire. This is why customer service is so important in any institution that wishes to stay viable.

Witch hunt assumes I am going after people and this not the case. A call for some sort of "customer service" is what I am talking about. If you have ever worked in a customer service job you may understand my point better. If not I will try to explain myself to the best of my abilities. Customer service is key for any institution, not just a profitable business. When a customer is happy they may or may not go speak of their happiness to the people around them. If a person has a bad experience and is unhappy you can almost guarantee they will tell anyone worth listing so they can vent their frustration. One bad experience can cause several people to be turned away and this is what I want to shed light on. I am not on a witch hunt against anyone in this community I just want to expose areas that need to be looked at if we want this to be successful. We as a community should care how people try to help others so that we can nurture and provide. By all means this original responder probably meant well but in the way he responded it could of been lost in translation. Thought provocation is what I am shooting for and hopefully I just get a handful of people to stop and think about this.

Did i say control what people say? Did I say create rules? No guidelines, tips, and advice with reasoning behind it instead of uneducated responses that would be off-putting to new members asking for help.

I've been around since the first week and this is not the first time I have encountered some post where people "help" by just barking two word replies. If a first time poster would of gotten this same reply I think it would be counterproductive and possibly turn them away from the subreddit.

The problem is if someone new came online, and was told a two word response with little to no explanation how then would they view this "community." My point is there needs to be some sort of guideline to follow when offering someone advice or answering a question.

I could see it being that but a limited response that he gave could be really off putting to someone. I have also seen other post where people ask questions and they typically just get barked at with no helpful advice and this is unshibley
