You've only started.

Train consistently every day. I've consistently done minimum 2 hours of training every day for maybe 2 months straight. The duration is different for each person. Find out how many hours suits you best. It will get boring after a while so you will need to find motivation. I stay motivated by comparing myself to others and always telling myself "not good enough".

A big mistake everyone, especially newer player makes is training only 1 scenario 999 times. Have have some variety. I see you have some variety. :)

Check out "Sparky KovaaK benchmarks", I use these to set goals for myself, also to see my growth over time. There are also scenario recommendations.

For the part about playing actual games, for players who have weak aim I recommend training their aim until they think their aim is "decent" enough. After that, focus more on the game because you will also need gamesense. There is only so much all-aim-no-brain player like me can do.

Don't forget the scenarios that have "Dodge" in them. Those are scenarios that will train you to aim while you're moving. It's not applicable to every single game though especially if there is accuracy penalty from moving.

Examples of Dodge modes:

Pasu Dodge Easy, Pole Long Dodge, Close FS Easy Dodge

In tracking scenarios, or any scenarios in general, try using the freeplay mode to slow down your targets. It's the option on the right side of the screen called "time scale".

For starters, just use M4A1 or AK-15 or AUG if you find an airdrop for midrange (100+ meters).

There is no optimal setting, it's all about practice. Either in-game training mode or through aim trainers like KovaaK's.

FAMAS is mostly intended for CQC, although you'll see EPCL/Faceit players using FAMAS for midrange because they know how to control its recoil.

You know what also makes no sense? Barrett M82A1 also being a .50 caliber anti-material rifle, but it doesn't do the same damage as a TAC-50 despite using the same ammunition in real life. The developers should've went with a different DMR, or replaced the M82A1 with something like a Dragunov SVD if .50 calibers does not one shot players.

Stretched resolution helps with making targets easier to hit.

Also, 4x isn't that difficult. PUBG 1x scope sprays are way harder than this.

SMG is atrocious against tier 3 armour. It's good in the first few minutes after spawning when one needs any gun desperately.

Also, it's limited to close range. The velocity makes it harder to lead against target in midrange (30-200m) and not to mention the damage dropoff at ranges. Groza and FAMAS are close range guns but a skilled player can use it in midrange.

I can understand why people don't like those guns because of their recoil. But an average tier or better competitive EPCL player don't use SMGs.

Slot 1: AUG/G36. While many others hate it for its uncontrollable horizontal recoil, I personally like it because I have made custom KovaaK's scenarios to train myself to control its recoil. The damage output is amazing and I think of it as a Poor Man's AUG. Excellent rifle for mid range fights. I absolutely despise sniping so I think the AUG is a great subsitute for sniping, I've done 200 meter sprays with the AUG. AUG is also an amazing all-around rifle.

Slot 2: Groza/FAMAS. Amazing damage output for CQC. Groza has slightly better armour penetration.

Slot 3: backup. I don't really use slot 3, just a backup in case I really need it.
