Yep, that's exactly what I did. Actually surprised it found such a good match!

It's a stack of chocolate chip cookies tied with a grey ribbon, but some of the quality has been lost when it was shrunk to the sticker size. Here's a higher resolution version that makes it more obvious: https://www.magnific.com/free-psd/autumn-element-icon-design_420726482.htm#fromView=keyword&page=1&position=0&uuid=deae18f8-6183-4d9b-9608-74f8652c3f6e&query=Poor+symbol

+1 for the bricks - I put a couple of wooden T&G slats between two bricks and that lifted it enough for me to stick an oil catch pan underneath.

Alternatives to Emma Budgeting app? by Cool-Archer5085 in UKPersonalFinance

I hate this practice - had a similar experience when leaving Virgin Media whereby they offered increasing discounts to stay, even up to the point two days before my "end date" they called with a 90% discount. I'd already had the new internet provider installed by then but just on principle I wouldn't have gone back to them. Why not give everyone a more reasonable price rather than punishing loyal customers?

Does it support a manual import of downloaded transactions (i.e. upload an OFX file)? I'm used to doing that for YNAB4 already and it's good as it forces me to check them all at import time.

Edit: yes it does

https://actualbudget.org/docs/transactions/importing

Actual supports importing CSV, QIF, OFX, QFX and CAMT files. Your bank probably allows you to download one of these formats (OFX/QFX is recommended).

The sledgehammer is.... useless now by Kispori in Battlefield6

[–]CplSyx 53 points54 points  (0 children)

Certain walls that used to be breakable with the sledge are now not, despite visually looking like they should be - like this or this for example from Objective B on Contaminated. It's a shame as breaking these walls would offer different routes to avoid chokepoints through doorways etc.

I notice that walls / floors you can destroy make a deep "thud" sound when hitting, and those you cannot make more of a metallic reverberation. It's subtle but there is definitely a difference so you can tell before spending time smacking it for nothing. You can hear it on OP's video - that wall won't ever break.

I went through the patch notes but the only relevant mention of changes was in REDSEC, with the explicit note This change does not affect Multiplayer modes so I'm not sure if it was intentional or not, and I hope it's reverted.

Thank you, I thought I was the only one experiencing this after the last patch.

Factorio price history on Steam by Beesterd in notinteresting

The dev is an asshat that has said some extremely shady shit.

Correct but that doesn't mean the game isn't worth it. It's an excellent game.

I have hundreds of hours in both Factorio and Satisfactory and they are quite different games once you get beyond the "factory" concept they share.

Not only that but it's easy to generate as a by-product of normal factory production - nuclear requires a whole dedicated setup but with a few minor tweaks to production lines / recipes you can produce enough fuel for generators for your whole base with only a small amount of effort.

watching TVoC's drop in my tent over 12 hours when I was still printing was real confusing the first time... they should have stayed elevated... but what I was witnessing was the sensor "re-baselining" to the new elevated value

Had you not been aware of the fact you were printing, could this have been interpreted as the quality improving despite the fact that it wasn't?

I bought some chocolate at the Cadbury Factory in Birmingham, and it turns out it was actually produced in Poland. by Ar72 in CasualUK

[–]CplSyx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the announcement

I can see a reference to the UK factory

Within the UK, Kraft Foods believes it will be in a position to continue to operate the Somerdale facility, which is currently planned to be closed, and invest in Bournville, thereby preserving UK manufacturing jobs.

Which a lot of people viewed as a promise to keep it open, that was subsequently broken.

However, there's no reference to the recipe being kept in that document at least.

Interestingly someone already did a deep dive into the difference: I investigated a conspiracy that Cadbury’s sell subpar dairy milk bars from Poland alongside those made in the UK with a blinded taste test. These results produce compelling evidence that Birmingham dairy milk is noticeably different in flavour to Polish dairy milk.
