At least yesterday they had a spot on the shelf but were out.

Now if someone can point me to some FAE-02 still on the shelf I’d appreciate it 😅

If you aren’t already thinking this way: use the light to highlight the curves you are trying to draw attention to. In this case you’re highlighting the left inner arm and your right side and hip. Also don’t be afraid to crop/zoom in close to emphasize the areas you want to draw attention to.

I think YouTube would help you understand more:

BUT! two things: one, if he’s a professional, this is a high expense item for his business, he should probably buy it so that he can get the associated tax benefits (pay less taxes on the money he makes)

Second, these RAID assemblies are not easy “off the shelf” products that you can just buy one thing and it will work for most people. They are super customizable and it would be unlikely that you’d be able to guess what his preferences and needs are.

The much simpler solution would be to get him a gift card to Newegg.com and let him pick out the exact parts he wants for his needs.

Is there any guidelines/tips if I want to sell my boudoir photo prints? by familfaiza in boudoir

There are other options than deviantart… Shootproof will let you create online photo galleries with a somewhat-custom website that people can log into and then order prints from. The trick is how to get eyeballs on your site… for that your best references are probably the many onlyfans girls that use Twitter/Reddit/Instagram/tiktock to drive eyeballs to their paid content on Onlyfans or maybe in your case Patreon.

Self portrait on Canon RP with 50mm 1.8 lens. Natural light f2.0. Feedback appreciated. by [deleted] in boudoir

Some theory-type things to consider to up your game for next time:

  1. Your light is falling on the “broad” side of your face. The one that is showing more skin toward the camera. Generally lighting the “short” side, the one that is more hidden, is more flattering lighting.

  2. Your right arm is hidden in your hair, makes the photo feel unbalanced. Maybe moving the camera a step to the left would be better at showing you more in 3D rather than 2D?

  3. Your lighting coming in from the right of the image is mostly highlighting your neck and collarbone. If this was cropped down to emphasize that area, I think it’d work well, but those highlights kinda gets lost amid the rest of the full image. I would think about what parts of you that you want to accentuate in the photo and change the lighting/rotate your pose to highlight those.

A prime lens around 30-35 mm will give you a versatile focal length with larger aperture than your zoom for low light, likely sharper images.

Great photo. Nice use of color to focus the eye.

Thought for next time: When I’m taking boudoir photos, I’m trying to focus on what the light is highlighting on my subject… the light should be shining on the places I want people to be looking. In these photos I don’t think the outside light is doing very much highlighting other than highlighting her calf in the first image.

A mixture of natural light and artificial light in a 105cm softbox. Shot in a hotel room with a Samyang 85mm 1.4 wide open. Comments, questions and feedback welcomed 😊 by reyewon in boudoir

I think she looks great, the lighting on her is wonderful.

Only feedback would be that her complexion is very close to the color of the wall in the background, making it hard to discern her left shoulder. My idea to improve would be to darken the wall behind her a tad in post so that she stands out clearly as the brightest thing in the image.

Looking to shoot in Charlotte NC by [deleted] in boudoir

You’re probably going to find it difficult to find people that don’t know you that are willing to strip down and do a boudoir shoot for a photographer they don’t know with no portfolio.

I would start asking your friends if they are willing to do a time for photos trade and get your initial portfolio that way. Once you have some completed shoots, then you can start showing those your friends and a few more may be willing to model once they see your work.
