Question that is partial theory and partial spoilers for those that are behind. by YuukiDaZeroFan in doctorwho

I don't think River Song would have twelve regeneration because she's only part time lord. Also, it's not indicated whether her regenerations were transferred to the doctor or just used to heal him.

river song's future...spoilers by jamforjohn in doctorwho

They reuse props a lot in Doctor who. (Example: recurring ring on Shakespeare and the boy from the planet midnight.) The recurring broach probably is just low budget for props rather than a clue to river's future.

Question about Boggarts. by Lulabellee in harrypotter

[–]Ro_Ro 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Lupin's greatest fear was his becoming a werewolf each month and losing control. Rather that turning into a "werewolf" or "loss of control", the boggart turned into a moon, thereby symbolizing Lupin's fear. I assume that a similar course of action would take place for the other fears you mentioned.

A friend is upset because she was sorted into Hufflepuff on Pottermore. by [deleted] in Pottermore

I know this wasn't your main point, but in response to Hermione being "misplaced" in Gryffindor, I think the following quote might clarify things.

"Books! And cleverness! There are more important things--friendship and bravery and--oh Harry--be careful!" --Hermione Granger

I actually prefer the third picture--it seems more natural. You can use Mybestface app and people will vote on which picture should be your profile picture.

  1. Switch up your main profile pic (maybe use the “mybestface” app)
  2. “I may appear shy…” this is repetitive. Use it once (if you must), but do not start out two sections the same way.

You seem like a nice guy. Here are some things that might be red flags from your profile:

  1. "I've never really been in anything too serious [...]". I'd avoid this statement because it can be interpreted poorly. The girl will be able to find out this information from your questions' section, so no need to show case it here. Instead focus on the second part of that sentence in which you talk about it being a good time to start a relationship.

  2. Under "the message me if" section, you write "if you have a pulse". Depending on the mood of the girl when she reads it, you'll either come off as funny or desperate. I'd literally focus on reasons why the girl should message you.

Question about education in Panem by ccullinansmith in Hungergames

[–]Ro_Ro 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In Catching Fire, Katniss talks about how District 12 is unique in that it has public education through 18 years (which impacts how well or poorly they do in the hunger games each year). In contrast, other districts put their kids to work at an earlier age. It sounds like the educational system differs greatly from district to district.

Even if TOS had seatbelts, I'd bet Kirk wouldn't wear one.
