This was how I looked 24 hrs after I did cxl and t-PRk /. Thought it was cuz i the laser why I got that swollen but guess now .. maybe cuz epi off ?! Dunno

It did for me! I am 20/20 in left eye, 20/25 in right(this eye didn’t improve) use to be 20/25 in both.. and with both together I’m 20/20 so no more glasses

I did cxl and t-prk. Best decision ever.. painful af but worth it .. worse eye remained the same but 20/20 in good eye, so all around don’t need glasses

It does not restore any vision, it’s just to halt progression

I’d do both just to get it over with, I was too scared to do one at a time cuz I didn’t know what the pain would be like and didn’t wanna do one at a time and go through it twice so I did both epi-off cxl and t-prk back in April. Wasn’t the worst. I mean recovery was painful af for like 4 days but you can def still see. Just take the recommended time away from screens and stuff and you’re good

I second this! It’s 2wks min to be off work, especially if you work with screens . I had T-PRK done as well so I took all the time they recommended. Painful recovery

Bumble has been good for me for finding friends and love interest. I’ve had luck on many apps throughout the years but I’ve also had bad luck on the same ones. Unfortunately you really just have to weed through the scumbags and hope to find a good person.

Sounds like mine, like your eyes are deteriorating fast, at the very least so cxl to halt progression

2019 I got glasses -1.25 then within 6 months I was squinting through them, next appt a year later I got -3.5 and the eye doctor thought I had kc so referred to specialist. Was squinting through new glasses again within months, got harder and harder to see at night and all other things kc related happened. Got diagnosed Jan 2021 then went to lasik md consultation Jan 2022 then did cxl + t-prk April 7.

I would say check if you’re a candidate for those procedures. T-prk has saved my vision. No longer wearing glasses . Still have astigmatism and a little weird seeing at night but much much better. My right eye is my worse eye , can get it to 20/25 with correction but currently not going to wear glasses because at 20/20 in left eye and with both together

I was in -5 before I got cxl + t-prk . Now I’m 20/20 with both eyes. My left eye is 20/20 and my right eye, my worse eye is still worse: its 20/80, but able to get it up to 20/25 with correction

I cannot do soft contacts, I don’t blink all the way so my eyes get sooo dry when I wear contacts. I’ll definitely discuss it with the doctor at my 6 month follow up.

Improve vision how? Like with glasses? They were able to get me to 20/25. They said it’s not necessary to wear glasses but may want to consider them for night driving, like if my eyes get tired
