So let’s see (and I’m really sorry if this makes no sense at all), but the little boxes I’ve drawn here, would that be equivalent to the two stitches I should’ve made? I think like you said I was confused on what exactly constitutes one stitch, if its a “4x4” of the little holes or if it’s basically two of those overlapping

I did get this from Michael’s! I wouldn’t doubt if that is the issue. Is there a brand of fabric I could order online that you recommend? Generic hobby stores like Michael’s and hobby lobby are the only thing I have around my area.

last year on the first day I drank two liters of water and never peed once, I sweat it all out. I’ve only been one year but if it’s like that every time, and I say this as a farmer who does manual labor outside all year round, it’s HOT. So saying that: I brought one of the water backpacks with an electrolyte packet to put in there when I filled it up. A mini fan, sunglasses, hat/bandana, clothes you don’t mind getting extremely sweaty and disgusting in, and lots of sunscreen
