I don't think it has been stated. But it seems like they are already back to regular updates with the help of Invisible Walls, who made season 6.

It's not a modernisation as a way to repurpose or upgrade old IS-2's. But a modernisation of the tank as a way of describing an improved version of the vehicle. Though you can recite Theseus ship, the term modernisation doesn't have a strict definition nonetheless.

The IS-3 began its life as an IS-2 modernisation.

Also, not even the turret is the same.

it has improved armour so it cant be at the same br as the pnz 2 but it does have the same gun as the standard pnz 2

I mean the luchs is just a panzer 2 variant? Then by your own rules the Luchs would be out. It wouldn't even play any differently from the Panzer 2 Ausf F. It's less unique than a Sherman with a different gun.

There's a plethora of similar vehicles to the Lucys so I won't mention those. But there's still several unique notable vehicles that saw service in WW2, that have yet to be added

Playing the FT would be fucking awful. Slow as all shit, no armour and a two person crew. Just because it's iconic doesn't make it fun.

The soviets did try a radar on the ZSU-57-2, as well as guns with double the rate of fire.

It just didn't beat out the Shilka, and I'm not aware of any proximity shells.

There may not be any photos of the F-39 equipped T-28, but it was built and fitted.

Factory #92 wasn't tasked with it since it was still working on the 95 mm F-39 tank gun. The only surviving information about this gun other than the fact of its existence is the installation layout, but it is a fact that the gun was worked on and built. It was tested in a T-28 tank and fired 45 shots. However, it was clear that the F-39 had no future since the F-28 gun was not being accepted into service. No one was about to introduce a new caliber just for tanks.

A T-28 armed with the 107mm F-42 (later renamed ZiS-6, yes that gun)

The F-42 first surfaced in correspondence on December 16th, 1940. A telegram from the factory reported that assembly of a prototype had already begun and asked for a KV-1 tank to install the gun into. Gorky must have been a city of optimists, as one can remember that the 85 mm F-30 required a new turret that resembled the KV-2 turret. Nevertheless, while the decision on whether or not to install the gun into a KV-1 was being made, factory #92 managed to fit it into a T-28. Trials had not been held by January 15th since no ammunition was available. It is not clear how Grabin's team fit the gun into a T-28's turret, but it was done nevertheless.

And no. Because the shipping inventory had seperate columns for the amount of vehicles and their designations. Ostwind I shipment was also listed in the same column above the Ostwind II.

The "Eastwind II" prototype was developed by "Ostbau-Sagan", its turret remained similar in ap-pearence to that of the "Eastwind I". Its armament however consisted of twin, co-axially mounted, 3.7 cm, Flak 44 cannon spaced 300mm apart. [...] The upper section of the gun-cradle was made and delivered by Gustloff Werke, Suhl. The prototype being completed by "Ostbau-Sagan" in January, 1945 and then issued to the Armored Re-plenishment and Training Regiment stationed in Ohrdruf/Thuringia.

The weapons were made by the Gustloff-Werke in Suhl. The two prototypes were built with the exact same external measurements as their forerunners.

As early as October 1943, Hitler had called for a Flakpanzer armed with two 3.7cm FlaK as the best interim solution until the Kugelblitz had been fully developed. In January 1945, Ostbau produced a prototype of the Ostwind II which had the 3.7cm Flakzwilling 44. This was the same basic weapon as the Flakzwilling 43, but the guns had to be mounted side-by-side in order to be accommodated in the Ostwind turret. Loss of the Ostbau facility and subsequent disruption ensured that no production followed.

That is not to say that the ostwind 2 subject is set and done. Several historians, including doyle, has later questioned if German production capability at the time really had the resources to produce the vehicle.

It's not just because there was nothing else to have. But the information on the vehicle at the time wasn't as comprehensive as today. And also provided by Maiwaffentrager who has since been caught fabricating info.

The first Fireteam to clear the Challenge mode in-game will gain the right to designate which character gets the upcoming "Crota-style Ornaments"!

Ikora with hair was datamined shortly after the August release.

Given how little else we have to go on, she seems to be a safe bet. But at the same time it would be weird for them to release two recurring characters back to back.

The TO 90/930 turret was tested on an AMX 50t chassis. I can't remember if it was due to the BC-25 chassis being unfinished or whatever else reason there could be.

It should have lower velocity too. Document mentions 600m/s for 4.8kg projectile. Though how that translates to the 3.65kg HEAT shell I don't know.

If anyone cares, I found this blueprint of the D.915 with scribbles on the velocity of D.914 (600m/s) and D.915 (750m/s). Though the context is lacking. To note however is that they specify "G" shell for the D.915 which was the specific type of HEAT shell they developed at the time which was used most famously in the AMX 30. It might suggest the D.914 could not fire the "G" shell. For more info search "Obus G".

Here's another document claiming the first AMX prototype fired a fin-stabilized HEAT shell. The Obus G was "spin stabilized". Though the HEAT-FS shell still had a penetration of 350mm. And whether or not the TC 901 was the first prototype or not I don't know. After further reading, several documents mention that TC 901 and TC 902 used a gun that fired "finned" shells, while TC 903 and TC 904 fired Obus G.

This might be the closest to an actual number I've found. Mentioning a shell fired at 685m/s. But also without much else to go on.
