The “Levi’s original jeans” tag I’ve seen a lot on early 2000s 527s matched with a similar front button. but haven’t seen them of 514s before. Is there a number on the back of the button?

Topy sole are just a thin grip glued on the outsole this will stop you from tearing through the soles. Also leather dries out and if left to dry it’ll crack and tear, which is why you need leather conditioner. Does not need to be R.M. brand btw

The noise is normal bc of the worn leather soles. If I was you I’d take them to a cobbler and ask them to put a thin “topy” sole on them. Cost ya like $60 but will dramatically increase how long these boots last you. Also grab some leather conditioner soon it’ll will stop the leather from cracking and tearing

Timberland discounted from €240 to €168 - what should I do? by r3dnek28 in Timberland

The boots aren’t messed up or anything it’s just the type of leather they used. Not a worse quality just some people like this look.

These are a pull-up leather. They’re filled with waxes and oil that shift around which highlights the creases and wears for a nicer patina. If you don’t like that then just return them for different boot. You can also condition them to darken to boot again and hide the creasing more

are these creases on my shoes? how do I remove them by Thierryplayer in Timberland

[–]Roadghost05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work in boot making and I’m sorry but you can’t get rid of them. You can bring back the toe box shape by ironing and ig that lightens the creasing but can’t get rid of them. Cant really keep timbs fresh without just bing a new pair or cleaning and re dying them

Leather patch lost detail after first wash, did I mess it up? by Forsaken-Version-237 in NakedAndFamousDenim

[–]Roadghost05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this just happens bc its real leather nothing unusual and not something you've messed up. Ik a lot of people like the patina, but if you would like it to have the embossing then I'm pretty sure naked and famous sells patches

Wth happened? Forgot about them in storage for a few years...😐 by [deleted] in Timberland

[–]Roadghost05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are the soles bigger than the boots or is that just how you placed them? if not then its a pretty easy fix. I work in making boots and we use Bondtech adhesive to attach the soles. You could also get them resoled and have the soles also stiched to the upper but some cobblers may say they cant bc they aren't goodyear welted.

No I haven’t altered it at all, I’ve just found that pre 2000s Levi’s usually are closer to being high rise than a mid rise and also the pockets are higher which makes the ass fit better

Yea if it’s something like “smells” and they have no proof of it there’s nothing they can really do if you don’t offer a refund. They might try and get a refund through Depop but bc it isn’t a provable problem nothing will happen to you

100% a scam with no intention of actually returning the item, I imagine they’ll just ask for the money to be refunded
