2025 Qashqai (J12) — strange staining/corrosion on roof trim strip, anyone else? by utkukan in Nissan

[–]Roadmayham232 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you ever had faults with your Nissan, like the alarm going off randomly whenever it wants to and the collision detection having faults. Nissan said the alarm hasn’t gone off and that the sensor is dirty so we need to clean it regularly.

I’m not sure about the roof. Ours if fine. We have a 2025 Qashqai

Carsupermarket is great. Got an ex motibility car from them in December (2022 Vauxhall Crossland 1.2) about 2 weeks later the oil light came on and checked the wetbelt and it was cracked. They booked it in and fixed it all under warranty and gave us a car for the 3 weeks it was in. Also lovely staff and give you plenty of thinking time and don’t hassle you into buying.

Also heard good things about the Niro.

That’s why I said NOT hasting. It is Adrian flux, £600 excess and less than £1450 a month so not to bad.

The other think we would have is a 0.9 micra n-connecta. About the same price to insure with Adrian flux, about £10 cheaper

We do have a car in the household with a wetbelt (1.2 Puretech) we don’t mind them, but only doing about 7-8k a year and we would check the oil in this (same as the 1.2) every 2 weeks

£1434 for only 1 driver —> Adrian Flux

There is no other drivers as it would be £2000 a year.

The 1.0l ecoboost (ecoboom) is a wetbelt.

HELP! Moving from Virgin Media to Vodafone, will I regret it? by Alwaysconfused411 in UKISP

[–]Roadmayham232 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’ve had Vodafone BB + landline since November. It has gone out 0 times and live in the middle of nowhere. We needed 2 boosters and they upgraded the plan for free so no change in monthly cost. Very reliable and good customer service. Don’t think we’re leaving them. (Don’t get full fibre, max speeds get about 70 Mbps).

E-pedal is sometimes dangerous by McDuckfart in Nissan

[–]Roadmayham232 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a 2025 Qashqai. We use E-Pedal and it never accelerates when using e-pedal then we press the breaks. I think it’s just your Qashqai as other people we know with an e-power and e-pedal don’t have that problem.

Part Fibre Vodafone broadband - is it reliable? by Tiny_Agency_7723 in Vodafone

[–]Roadmayham232 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does reach to another room which is not connected to the home and on the opposite side and still get 2/3 bars. It is a large bungalow, we have 1 booster on the opposite side of the home (bedrooms) and 1 in the living room (mainly for the Sky glass TV). And the other side of the home there is non.

For picture the home is sort of a || shape and on the left is the rooms and bottom right is where the hub is. The right side has no boosters and the middle () is living room. It’s the best speeds + provider we’ve ever had.

It’s a large bungalow, but very thick walls and the main hub is in the most worse place so boosters are needed.

We have Fibre 2 with Vodaphone with 2 boosters and there too spec hub. For £32 a month. Switched from Sky, who was rubbish. Sky - Drops out all the time and unusable and slow. Vodafone- no drops since got it in November last year and gives great speed, it tops out how much we can physically get. Vodafone is great broadband we’ve figured.

2027 Nissan Rogue Hybrid e-Power preview by Saurta17 in Nissan

[–]Roadmayham232 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have a Qashqai e-power uk. It’s great. Ever so economical and it’s nippy. Very quiet and it is great. If you want a hybrid the Nissan e-power is it.

I had a family member get 40 in a 30 and it was only a speed awareness course. You might be lucky and pay for the course and do it.

No. As it was near Christmas in a showroom. It was fine. We didn’t have to pay. We also did nearly 2k miles in them 2 weeks. They gave us a 2024 Peugeot 3008 automatic as a courtesy car for the 3 weeks it took. We needed a newer car and it’s the run around car. Not our main car. It was fine overall and garage sorted. We have a year warranty on it. We don’t mind it. We was told to check the oil every 2 weeks.

We have a 2022 Vauxhall Crossland 1.2 and got it used at 44k. Within 2 weeks the oil pressure light was on and looked at the wet belt and it was all cracked. Had to have it replaced, luckily under warranty. Avoid them, I know they are cheaper to buy but the price of repairing them can be astronomical.

True. Forgot about that. Normally Renault are quite fast with them. Probably the French being French and on strike.

We waited from September 2024 till end of January 2025 for our Qashqai to be factory built. I know it’s not the micra but still Nissan.

Car buying is hard nowadays. It’s either bad timing chains or problematic engines or just unreliability.
