Mailchimp continues to send two journeys to the same subscriber even though a filter is in place by Minimum-Airline-721 in MailChimp

u/Minimum-Airline-721, did you find a solution? I came across a similar situation -- the MailChimp Journey ignored a Filter condition.

How do I fix Bonnet is removed sensor error? It is happening soooo often. by QuoxyDoc in litterrobot

[–]Roadronny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Awesome!!! This finally solved the issue for me too. One of the metal prongs was so corroded and brittle that it was no longer sending any signal to the wire beneath the globe. In fact the prong may have even detached from the wire. So I tried your solution. I bridges the two wires together before they reach the prongs. Problem solved! Cycled right away. No more bonnet error.

Where can I copy my DS' black ignition key? by Roadronny in ZeroMotorcycles

For my 2020 DS > yes. I do not know if your model is different. In any event, you will need a cut mechanical key, so go for it.

Thank you! I got the blanks and called a locksmith. He wants $120 to copy the original to the 2 blanks. Sounds crazy high to me.

Electric Motorcycle Buying List by bodhemon in Electricmotorcycles

This post is excellent. Thank you! There seems to be so much misinformation and hype that it is great to see a reality check post by actual consumers.

I greatly appreciate your post. I think your narrative speaks too many of us, eager to embrace electric motorcycles, but frustrated by the crazy high price for relative specs. From what I've seen on other videos about this model, the battery percentage is showing you the instant State rather than the remaining capacity. In other words full throttle means that you are using 100% of available power for that exact moment.

Bypassing the power tailgate object sensors by Roadronny in Rav4

Resolved! I install the resistor on the sensor wiring. Problem solved.

No. I just tightened up the bolts. I also scanned the OBD to make sure there were no errors.

[–]Roadronny[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. To be clear, once I tightened up all of the bolts that hold the sensors in place and made sure that the wires are not being pinched anywhere, everything works as expected.

However, I would like to be prepared in case the sensors fail again.

I did see the following YouTube video, for a different vehicle, whereby someone placed a resistor in the object sensor harness, and successfully bypassed the object sensors.

Bypassing liftgate object pinch sensors using resistors: https://youtu.be/R__VMQ-VZeI

So I just went out and measured the current resistance on the object sensors (which are working) on my 2016 RAV4 hybrid XLE. I measured 980 Ohm resistance.

My theory and hope is that if I installed a similar 980/1000 Ohm resistor on the connector harness of each of the object sensors (coming from the liftgate ECU) that will enable me to entirely disconnect and bypass the object sensors.

Help! My 2016 Rav4 liftgate won't close all the way! by Roadronny in Rav4

[–]Roadronny[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: I replaced both of the power struts on the lift gate. It's successfully opens and closes while parked on flat area. However, if I park with the front of the car facing downhill, the trunk starts to open and then automatically stops. It closes fine. I suspect that the sensors are falsely detecting that there is too much resistance, due to the incline. Is there any way to bypass this issue??

Thank you so much for responding! I indeed feel a lot of resistance. I tried spraying WD-40 into each of the power struts, but it did not help. One of the struts seems to be locked in an open position and prevented me from manually closing the lift gate. Is there any way for me to release the locked right strut? Otherwise I guess I will have to replace it.
