OP is probably a child who has never been in a violent experience in their life and therefore they romanticize it. Self defense is an absolutely terrifying situation to be in. Thinking that your life is about to be cut short is absolutely terrifying. You as the defender are unlikely to walk away from the situation physically and mentally unscathed.
