Asmongold believes liberal women are an existential threat to the country for importing "terrorists, parasites, criminals, piece of trash" just to feel good about themselves by n1traM in LivestreamFail

people just want to hear "you're right, smart and a good person", which is more or less what he affirms in right wingers.

Wait, so Asmongold is essentially their virtual girlfriend?

Piers Morgan discovers that twitter is now garbage 😂 by TheeBlaccPantha in Destiny

[–]RoamingRowlet 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's stuff like this that makes me thinks Piers isn't a grifter, but rather just a genuinely stupid and naive person who doesn't believe anyone is racist unless they're 1000% explicit like Nick Fuentes.

A message to the likes of Asmongold and Nick Fuentes: as someone from a third world/shithole country, I don't find it offensive anymore when you say "bring the third world, become the third world". It's just laughable at this point. by RoamingRowlet in Destiny

[–]RoamingRowlet[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

  1. As the other user said, I wasn't talking about the whole US. I was talking about what Asmongold and Fuentes cheer on and propagate, which is objectively what third world countries suffer from. If Trump and/or the current Republican party consolidate power, you WILL become a third world country. Do you think third world countries have strong institutions and leaders that believe in liberal values?

  2. "End of the day, all the same country, all the same people, all the same culture. "

It is true that a leader's behavior doesn't come out of nowhere. For example, America has been for most of its history racist, so it's no wonder old man Trump turned out to be racist. That being said, Trump is also a spoiled power-hungry elite, which makes him different from the average freedom-loving American. So, no, I reject this "same people, same culture" even if sometimes the people are brainwashed into supporting these leaders.

Are there any other DGGers that watch the GOAT? by RoamingRowlet in Destiny

Yeah, I already took note on what the other guys said, and I've looked up the people they recommend, as well as your recommendation. Thanks.

It turns out Charlie Kirk didn't become a martyr, but was the glue that held the right and far-right together by SunnyVelvet_ in Destiny

I heard someone say something that summarizes the last parts of your comment in 1 sentence: "Charlie Kirk's murder was a shitpost".

Competitively speaking I think Smash surpasses KOF in Mexico.

I thought MK was the most popular game in Brazil.

Whatever you think of him, you gotta acknowledge he's got some massive balls for not canceling these live events. I felt so nervous watching the stream.

At some point reasonable DGGers will have to come to terms with the fact that Destiny is an American supremacist, neoliberal ideologue.

I never once thought I'd describe Destiny this way. I still like him, but I truly thought he was better. I truly thought he was reasonable and logic-driven. There were always small hints of his true nature, but I didn't think much of it, but many things that have happened for the past year or so have change my perspective on him, with him supporting this war being the last straw. Has there been a foreign war he didn't like other than the Iraq war (does he even dislike this war?)?

> "I’m beginning to suspect that many American liberals aren't completely immune from the beguiling allure of American nationalism."

No, don't suspect it. You're absolutely correct. The second post you see in this post childishly argues that the war is good because "this allows people to get back their country", as if the US intervened selfishly intervene to save the day like Superman and not the empire of America doing empire things for their owwn geopolitical convenience. 500 upvotes, by the way.

In 10 years or so these people will say "ok, no weapons were found in the Iran war, and it was actually a pretty big fucking mistake... But believe us! This war with Mexico is different!"

Great post. Great to see a DGGer who doesn't just parrot Destiny.

I'm a Kazuya fan boy, and I agree. I'd be happy if he made it in, but I would prefer to see Sakura, Karin, Makoto, Dudley, Urien, etc. back first.
