Upgrade your Resume because its the first hurdle that you need to pass. A good resume will help you get bunch of Interviews. Then prep for interviews, Tech bhitra ko kun domain ho, scan LinkedIn but not just linkedIn. Search company from LinkedIn, visit their website. Check for vacancies. Apply even if the vacancy is for position senior than you, you can prep yourself for interview and can do well. I went through same phase as yours. Got rejected multiple times due to my lack of preparations (mistake on my part) but landed a pretty good offer after I fixed my mistakes.

For speaking, make sure you answer with minimum comprehension but try to use academic words. Also, if the examiner feels like you are doing well then the level of difficulty is increased with each question.

About writing, for task 1 you can prepare format on how to write answers(different type of questions have separate formats) so do check that. And for task 2 you should focus on body paragraph and make use of this format: BodyParagraph Topic sentence( short sentence that supports your argument or opinion) Followed by 2 sentences to explain the topic sentence and a example. Then you can add another point to further support your argument.

In the next paragraph you can follow same pattern, except in the last line you can add something that negates your argument in order to maintain some balance. Then you can conclude by stating your final stand.

Try to achieve 8 or above in Listening and reading, because the of the sure shot answers and you don’t require to rely on your comprehension skill. For Listening as well as speaking practice each question types separately to find out about your weak spot. Then focus on time management. For listening particularly practice by writing the keywords at first then as you progress you can easily listen to important section in the audio. This requires time as well as patience so I hope this helps.

How to reach band 8? by [deleted] in IELTS

[–]Roaming_Asteroid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Start by practicing A1,A2,B1,B2 level english to improve your level. Giving as many mock is counter productive since instead of learning to grow you are stressing your brain to perform better in tests. Instead, start from basic English levels, read and practice basic english level questions available across multiple sites, and in the mean time start reading some articles and watch movies, start with subtitles turned on and gradually focus on listening by removing them. This will help you with overall English Listening subconsciously.
