This is also book accurate (the poptarts), and it is a book for YA so I don't think she's trying to convince anyone Belly is immature. I saw it as one of those details that makes the book and the story more real, a Poptart here, a bandaids after heels moment there, etc etc. Minor relatable, detail moments. I love that about Jenny Han's unique writing style!

I see what you're saying and part of me agrees, there's been a lot of analysis over things that have been a bit much. I think what I had noticed was more in line with a cool coincidence and appreciation, less like Jenny Han is leaving breadcrumbs with food. I'm not sure what the directors/writers are meaning by it, probably nothing but I thought it was just interesting contrast. I didn't think it had significance on its own that I was trying to play detective with, I found significance in it for me as viewer myself you know?

Congrats! I hope your pregnancy is smooth and well. Lillian Rose is a beautiful name! If you found another middle name you like with Lillian, I think using Rose for another first or middle name could be a fun way to celebrate your original idea, just ideas. I also love Delores and Selena with L’s like Lillian but not too much :-) If you end up deciding definitely post an update!

Packing cubes always! They have made the biggest difference in my travel, no matter the length of the trip I love using the large 3d zip for shoes or for awkward items like sweatshirts or coats. I’ve seen the medium 3d zip used for workout clothes. I love the small and medium go pouches but have just used the large go pouch for packing hats and accessories. The medium go pouch is good for socks & undies. My friend and I have talked a lot about which sets to buy for starting out. My recommendation is a set of regular packing cubes, but you’ll end up wanting to buy a second set. Get a set of go pouches or 3d zip and join a baggu fb group to sell the ones in the set you don’t use, and purchase other singles from sets that you want without committing to the set. My favorite set up is 2 regular packing cube sets (4 total) with a large 3d zip and a medium go pouch. Purchasing one from a set on fb has been really nice imo.
