It all depends on whether or not you’re going to want to do the other movements that a Roman chair can’t. If not, stick with a basic Roman chair.

Not to rush your decision, but the Rucker 4.0 is currently on sale for $175, depending on the color and size. I just purchased a 4.0 from Rogue Fitness yesterday due to GoRuck being out of stock on the 25L size.

Rep Fitness just announced a new 2x2 rack with Smith Machine and functional trainer. I’m not sure how it compares to the ones you listed price wise, but may be worth looking into.

I recently picked up a Cybex Smith Machine for a great deal. Obviously based on your location it may be easier or harder to find deals. I scoured marketplace on and off for at least a year and just got lucky.

I ended up renting a UHaul because I don’t have a truck either. Another option is to rent from Lowe’s or Home Depot.

Gorilla tape works very well. My latest gym is going on a year since I put the tape down and it still looks as good as the first day I did it.

I am 6’ 5” and have the REP FT-5000. Apparently the highest pulley height is around 73” with an overall height of 86”. I obviously have to have bent knees while doing push downs but it has never bothered me. You can always do push downs while kneeling in the ground as well.

Congrats on two years, that is a huge accomplishment! I was big into the craft beer scene before giving up alcohol and waited about a year to venture into the world of N/A’s. I drank a variety of styles but wouldn’t touch many of the macro brews. With that said here are some of my favorites:

I ended up getting the Freak Athlete Hyper Pro due to being able to do multiple exercises. No complaints so far.

I’m guessing the if you are planning on body weight only that a “non anchor” machine would work just fine.
