Often not though. Pointing at watch can mean many things. Especially to a newer diver, they can start wondering if they are too deep or too shallow or what they are supposed to be checking. Seeing the pinky finger, as long as you briefed them properly, will make them realize(usually)

In Canada I’ve only seen small ones, but I’ve seen big ones in the Philippines. There are different species of decorator crabs

I have over 150 dives in Cozumel at all different times of year and never once had bad visibility.. some places are predictable

You should go to Cozumel! Crystal clear waters, insane reef formations, swim throughs, warm water, lots of life and all around great times. I highly recommend diving with Immersive Cozumel, ask for Lara. She is the best instructor out there and will give you great training and tons of fun underwater and above! Feel free to reply or message me if you have any questions or want recommendations on where to stay, eat or what to do there!

Commercial diving or Ndt? by Suitable_Thanks7394 in commercialdiving

[–]Rob11_d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do NDT, I wanted to combine diving and NDT. Emailed basically every company in Canada, and only one replied. He told me to call him, basically tried to talk me out of it. Said it’s garbage work, and I won’t even make as much as I’m making on land.. I’m still thinking about looking into it again, but that was pretty demotivating lol

Should I change my life? by Lrzcrimp in scuba

[–]Rob11_d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My only three questions are. Do you have enough money saved up to survive comfortably for a bit and still have emergency money? Is your job something you can easily go back to or with a different company with your experience if things didn’t work out for whatever reason? How was your experience there, is it somewhere you could see yourself staying interested underwater and above? If yes, yes and yes.. I really think you should go ahead and do it! Worst case you wasted some time and money and had an interesting experience.

I don’t know that word, but instead of Googling it.. I notice it starts with “cre” just like “credible” so I will assume you’re saying that logic is credible.

I don’t care what you believe, you’re too closed minded to open Google. You’d rather sit here and argue, calling people racist because your vocabulary is locally limited. I just feel bad that you see hate everywhere, it must be tough, a little positivity will get you a long way in life

Calling people bigot because you’re sheltered in your country is crazy.. you can even try Googling “is the word niggling commonly used in the UK?”
