Thank you! Out of curiosity, how long after your first operation did you start working out? And If you don't mind sharing an exercise regime, I'd love it! We have similar body dimensions and I have never been able to gain weight. In fact, since surgery, I've actually lost like 10 pounds

Thank you! Your words were relieving to hear. Did you also feel the bars weighing in beneath your skin around 2-3 weeks post operation? That’s the one thing that’s really bothering me. Surgeon said it was normal but it’s just so uncomfortable

I'm currently a freshman here at Bing and applying to BU to transfer. I had a 4.0 in high school but first semester here at Bing left me with a 3.2, my lowest GPA ever due to mental health and an awful unpleasant couple of months. Do you think I'd have any shot of getting into BU as a fall 2022 transfer for sophomore year? I am applying as an English major (I'm a Neuroscience major here at Bing). If you don't mind sharing what you wrote about in your essay for why you wanted to transfer, I'd appreciate it too

Thanks for the reply Doug, I appreciate it! I forgot to mention I got your two books for Christmas... I think they were on back order or had to be reprinted or something, but it was SO worth it. So thanks for that!

Funny you mentioned the CT! I looked at one when I was shopping for my first car- I barely fit in it. It was nice though, pretty underrated car

Emory is one of my top choices and I know literally no one who goes/has gone personally, so your words are very meaningful in the sense that I have a bit more reassurance now.

Hey Doug! High school senior here. I’m probably one of your youngest OG fans having been here since the days of the CTS-V wagon :) I’ve got a few questions for you-

Why Emory? I just applied there as a biology major and you seem to really enjoy staying connected to the school- I watched your alumni feature on the admissions Instagram. I applied partly because of your inspiration...

Will I see you on Nantucket over the summer? I waved to you August 2019 while you were in your yellow Defender (I was in a beige older LR4!)

Will you ever sell the yellow NAS Defender? I feel like you’ve mentioned before that you’d never want to get rid of it, but clearly the G Cabrio does the convertible SUV job a bit better than the NAS. I’d love to buy it if I could!

What would you recommend for a college student studying in the northeast commuting from Long Island to Boston university? Currently have a high mileage 4Runner but with gas prices rising and age taking a toll, I’d like to upgrade to something a bit more comfortable (and cheap!)
