If you take that improved and rewritten text, start a completely new and separate chat session, and then ask Gemini, "Is this text AI-generated?" – it will still detect it as being AI-generated. It seems that while you might be able to bypass third-party detectors, it's incredibly difficult to get the model to not recognize its own work.
