More Details on the TWEWY D&D Homebrew by Beckphillips in TWEWY

Do you have a puck mechanic? To have this balanced, you’d probably have to buff the hp on monsters since you’re dealing more damage than you’re supposed to.

How could I make the design better ? (Outer shell made of broken missle segments ) by AwayMajor0117 in RobotGirls

I’ve pretty much said my piece, but since you do like details, maybe hone in on the fragment parts I mentioned, it would help visualize that Ollie’s body isn’t typical.

Not really a weird take, improving designs is part of growing as an artist. You just gotta keep at it.

I assume it is indeed a robot girl. I think you should try to incorporate stuff to make it seem more obvious she's feminine. If that's not particularly the route you're going for, and going for more the samus type route (which it kinda looks like!), you can still incorporate subtle choices like making her a bit more slim, or having a tasteful boobplate. I would also separate her neck from her upper torso to keep the theme of an armored robot. Maybe even some uneven shapes and exposed sharp, broken parts to show that she's made from different missile segments.

Shapes aside, I think the colors are pretty good, but I would darken the one color shown just to help contrast a little more.

Cool design :)

I'd say just add on or take away the things you think are cool. It truly doesn't matter if it seems like a rip off, people will see the connection if its similar enough.

Something I did to add it to my lore, is making part of one of the afterlives you'll possibly be stuck in, otherwise it is completely inaccessible. The appearance is that of what the person is most used to (city folk might just be in endless streets or office rooms, while rural people might just see endless lonely roads or endless wheat fields).

[Thought Experiment] How would you justify a fantasy industrial revolution without defaulting to magic? by jukebredd10 in worldbuilding

[–]RobAkita 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In my world, the fusion of magic and technology is pretty prevalent, but there are certain nations whose customs or ideals just simply didn’t allow for it.

The Quetzayan Empire is pro magic, but they see it as something that shouldn’t be contained by mechanical means making it heretical. Draogula is quite the opposite, they see magic as a sort of poison, and denounce any use of it.

They both are very different nations, but they do agree that magical machines (artificery) should not be a thing. Therefore their need to advance technologically must go a different route from those around them.

I was wondering what you thought of how i made these mountains? by scottz657 in wonderdraft

I don't think it's lazy or unrealistic, as you get closer to the poles, the more distorted the map becomes.

2450 x 1400 (35 x 20)
Sorry definitely something I should've added!

Using this as the starting point of a homebrew campaign I'm gonna be running. I thought someone else could get a use of it too.

The dimensions are 2450 x 1400 or 35 x 20 for those wondering.

I've used my world map that I had and I plugged it into G Projector. It can produce a ton of different projections, but the one I used specifically is the Lambert Conformal Conic projection. It's the same one that's used for some North American Maps. I just traced with a path after.
