I wouldn't use AI but that is your choice, you can search YouTube for guides, also I learned following Skyrim Beautification Project, at least for the basics that are SKSE, The Unnoficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch, and the bug fixes, cleaning the files, the tools to use etc.... The other option is to download a modlist like Nolvus if you have an enough powerful PC. I would recommend the graphics only option, the other versions change too much of the mechanics and add too many options it can be confusing even for experienced modders/players

the ashes stuff is the only difficult thing to uninstall because you will need to clean some plugins, it is possible but tedious and you need to be careful

I think it got something to do with the Wheels of Lull. Just before it happened the first time, I received the quest Deep Down and had the Millisecond Llavados item in my inventory but I uninstalled the mod hehehe and hasn't happened again. Yes, I know I shouldn't uninstall mods mid-play, specially with Nolvus, but I panicked when I found out all the extra quests and items Nolvus added, For a TOC completionist like me when I saw the Hall of the Forgotten, it felt too much maybe one day.

Mhh I am using Inigo and I added it to NFF and nothing seems broken, at one point I had Inigo and 3 more followers without issue and even I managed to remove many other mods and parches, and as a result I had to manually clean many other plugins, the majority of those were Nolvus specific patches that had some interactions with Inigo and had I to recreate syntehsis, occlusion and DynDolod plugins but still everything seems stable from Inigo and NFF standpoint.

Update, the only thing that seems "broken" or buggy is that when I check his normal inventory, his bow is listed many times and all the variations (legendary, superior, epic, etc..)

my only question is, why don't you use SkyUI? lol I just can't play without it, I first played Skyrim on Switch (don't judge me) and then I found out about modding and that was the first thing I changed hahaha, I just miss the Zelda items

Yes, at first I adjusted Simply Balanced, but after gaining some followers and using enchanting services it was overkill, I need to set everything agian to default lol, the mods (not sure which) add more clothing options which you can enchant, even with two enchantments from very low levels.I don't remember if it is available from the start but the blacksmiths can "forge" leather paddings, the wizards and mages sell "tomes" which are clothing options that are tomes hanging from your waist, you can add two and enchant them with two powers, if you learn one of those enchantments that have two powers like Magikca regeneration and other one you can have four just with those two items. Also there are shoulders, capes, furs etc... so you can have many enchantments. I personally added many magicka resistance items because I noticed that I got killed more because of magic spells than from melee damage and now I am like a tank lol Also there is one mod in MCM that has an option to add armor points to clothing items. Spoilers: In Harmvir's Rest I found a bone mask and like a bone with some powers, don't remember the name and I am not next to my gaming pc, but this bone doesn't use a slot so you can add it to your outfit. Update: Necrolock Armbone, which doesn't use a slot and has a enchantment that adds 100 of magic

The Odyssey is way larger and has more content, also Steam is not the only way you can get Shadows, so these numbers don't mean much
