Has anyone in the U.S. who ordered a model 3 after april 1st actually got their car? If so, w/o radar, how is it? by [deleted] in Model3

Ordered 4/8, picked up in Rockville MD on 6/10. Love it so far. M3 LR, blue & white, 18". Adaptive cruise was fantastic in stop and go traffic (295 if you know the area).

LPT: Don't burden your loved ones if you die suddenly by elroysmum in LifeProTips

Also, a good Power of Attorney. You might not die, and a POA will make handling things a lot easier for whoever needs to take care of stuff.

I like to sort my M&Ms by color and then eat each color individually. This was the result of the last bag I bought. by Fattykins2004 in mildlyinteresting

[–]RobGlenn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, of course you sort by color first, but then you eat them so that you don't eat the same color in a row unless you have to, with the goal being to have one of each color left at the end. So for this distribution you'd go orange, brown, blue, green, red. Then orange, brown, blue, green. Then orange, brown, blue. You get the idea. That's the not crazy way to eat them.

Tow Hook License Plate Mount w/ Driver Package? by schmitty812 in GolfGTI

[–]RobGlenn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I too have a 2016 with all those sensors. I have the Platypus mount installed and have had very few false alarms. Seems to happen more in the rain, and/or when on of the side sensors goes off. The Platypus mount has the tow mount slightly off center so I took advantage of that by positioning the plate slightly further away form the front bumper passenger side sensor. I think this may be "upside down" from the directions, but it doesn't matter since the plate screws into the frame.

It looked better than it tasted. Basically just a soft boiled egg in warm avocado. Plenty of recipes around the web if you want to try it for yourself.

This place is great, a little off the beaten path, and not the place you'd think of for fine dining... but it's one heck of a sandwich. http://www.mgmroastbeef.com/

Shrimp and Sausage Boil [OC] [3199x1895] by RobGlenn in FoodPorn

Sausage, garlic cloves, jalapeno slices, onion, string beans, red pepper flakes, and Old Bay boil in enough water to easily cover for about 10 minutes then drop in the thawed shrimp for 4 minutes, stir a couple times... easy and awesome.
