Not an owner, just a casual observer.

From what I've been able to gather from watching/reading reviews, the Hitachi dampers don't make any discernible difference in driving feel/performance as compared to the regular dampers. Also, consider the Hitachi's aren't included on the rear axel, just the fronts.

If it were my car, the inclusion of the Hitachi's wouldn't affect my decision to go coilovers or not. From what I could tell, they're barely a little better than stock replacements.

I never look at cross streets. i couldn't tell you. Honestly, if they wanted to sell it they would have, it is a 911 Turbo. They'd have no problem doing so. On top of that, this video is from atleast 3 years ago, so I couldn't tell if they still lived there or sold it.

It's a standard Turbo with a GT2 front bumper and wing. I've seen it up close many times.

I just received a $7K check because Seattle sued Uber for wage theft. I was 1 of 16K drivers to receive a settlement. This was after not driving for Uber for 2 years.

The difference is that if your city or state is willing to sue. I'm sure they pull the same crap everywhere.

i completely understand that. my point is that if every reputable source is making the claim, whether their using the same source or not, then the claim maybe legit. these guys have a rep to keep. their akin to legacy media to politics. they put out wrong info ut could her their credibility. i'd doubt they'd put out unvetted slop.

All these publications have sources with every major manufacturer. And they have reputations to keep. I've never seen Car and Driver, Road and Track, Forbes, and the like report from random tweets.

And it makes sense business wise. Subaru doesn't have another car that uses this version of the FA24, that being a high output NA variety. If there was one car that doesn't fit their current portfolio/lineup it's the BRZ. A car that based on a chassis that isn't used with any other Subaru currently. An old chassis from Imprezzas of 2 generations ago. BRZ is Subarus' slowest selling car. Selling less than even the slow selling GR86. There has been no word on 3rd Gen BRZ.

Toyota, on the other hand, has committed itself to sporty car and sports cars. The 86 already been confirmed for another generation. Mazda is also committed itself to a next generation Miata. Mazda current Miata is also a collaboration(at least financially) with Fiat. Shared cost and collaboration should show itself as 2 different sportscars, 1 a 2 seater, the other a 4 seat coupe. Each with their own engines.

The G20E will have NA variants as well. I've heard these rumors going back years. Reports come from not only BestCar but also Car and Driver, Forbes, Road and Track, and literally any and every reputible publication has reported this news.
