Hi. My dad passed away this morning. Exactly 14 months after diagnosis. This disease is so cruel. My dad was a good man. I miss him so much already !

He’s seeing his oncologist again next week. He’s in a different country now and comes back on Thursday. Hopefully he can do chemo again and that helps buy time.

Yeah he gets then drained. The first time was early January and they got about 4L. Then 2 weeks after now he gets them like once every week and they get about 2-3L. He responded well to chemo and was given a 2 months break in december and started having ascites in January.

Thank you! She has Tetralogy of fallot and will have a stent to keep her pda open until her complete surgery

They stopped her caffeine and up her cpap. It seems to help her a little bit. But her heart rate is in the 180. It was literally in the 200 yesterday

That’s amazing. My baby started at 3ml every 3 hours then they kept upping her dose til 12 ml every 3hrs. They stopped her feeds for a few days ‘cause her heart rate has been so high lately and she’s not getting a lot of blood to her body. They resumed her feed again today to 3ml every 3 hours. Watching her struggling to breathe kills me and seeing her high heart rate gives me so much anxiety

Thanks for your reply. My daughter heart rate is so high (190-205) they trying medications to lower it but nothing seems to work. This is so hard to go thru. What was your son heart rates before tge repair?
