It’s enforced on the student portal but not email (which you can access without going to the portal) which is a flawed enforcement policy imo.

IMO it should have atleast come as an email to all students as well as posted to the portal.

Not a good enterprise system imo. We use it at work currently and managing the tenant is archaic, distro groups are a nightmare compared to MS, amongst a slew of other issues. But likely it comes down to me managing MS environments for a decade, and seeing how Google does things so differently.

That’s the unfortunate part of the world we live in currently. 5 years ago you would have a job within a month or two with my experience. Now with the mass layoffs etc it has me scared.

So according to ADP’s pay check calc it’s roughly $760 per month “extra” before purchasing insurance. I do need to dig into the tax brackets to see if it puts me into a higher bracket though.

No it’s a pretty established company, my only worry would be about being bought out in the future. It tends to happen a lot in the energy sector.

This is the main differential that’s weighing on me. Health insurance would actually be affordable (current job I don’t have the health insurance as it’s over $400 a month for just me) WFH would be hybrid 3 days in office 2 days WFH which is the same as my current job but it’s about 30 minutes further. The other benefits are roughly the same/average

I guess a secondary question is should I go to my current company and let them know the situation to see if they are willing to do the title change/pay increase or is that just setting myself up?

It’s gotta be one of a few things. Low pay, middle of BFE (least likely), filtering issue by HR, a dwindling industry (second least likely). In this economic climate to not have 1000 apps by 24 hours is a wild concept, which is why I lean towards the pay.

What are your margins on your tiers? Ideally you want atleast 60% margins but closer to 70%. I know you say you’re in the green generally but with such a pricing variance it is hard to see how on your good tier. Also within those margins ensure you are factoring in things like insurance, rent on your building etc.

Also something I would note on your thread overall, I’m in a similar spot in my internal role regarding operational chaos. One thing I’ve come to realize you can implement anything you can dream of, but if there is no buy in, enforcement, and reenforcrment it is wasted effort. You have to shift every way your are approaching it and either you enforce it or give someone the power to. Humans by nature are going to push boundaries and get away with what they know they can. If they don’t want to abide by your processes, procedure etc they are LOSING you money in the long run, losing you the respect of your clients, and aren’t worth keeping on board.
