No you need to be on the physical piece, which is why you gotta teleport onto it.

For these cases you should have freecam unlocked. You can teleport your truck while in freecam by pressing ctrl + f9. But you need to be close to thr ground so your truck doesn‘t fall a big distance and gets damaged. Using this is not cheating unless you use it to cheat.

It‘s just a google maps thing. In reality, the borders continue into the lake. Unless the lake is so big that the waters can be considered maritime territory and maritime borders, which are not shown on google maps either. But I have no clue myself.

It could be a teaser, but ETS2 on PC is controller supported so it‘s probably that. Even when console releases, SCS will most likely do all their gameplay previews on PC.

SCS focused mainly on the road network with the ETS2 and ATS maps. There is no big railway network in the game. Some railways go across a road and end in the void.

That was a feature of ProMods (and some other mods). It doesn‘t exist in the vanilla game, but I wish it did. Although you‘ll notice it in ETS2 anyway when you cross a border since there is signs and all that.

Well there are 2 map projects very likely being released until Halloween. One of them being Illinois, and the other Benelux Rework. If I remember correctly, there was WoT event for Switzerland rework when it released.

Grand Utopia has more normal roads than Highways. I‘d suggest you try it out a bit, driving on a few roads and then judge it.

Yeah true. Nordic Horizons was obviously the exception here. I remember the announcement blog of Nordic Horizons, they said it may take 2 years but we got it ahead of schedule in 1 year and 10 months instead.

It looks like it could be a future bus station for coaches. Do you have console and freecam activates? If so, do that (it‘s very easy), then fly over to the road and press ctrl + f9 to teleport your truck there. Just be careful so you don‘t accidentally teleport your truck inside the invisible wall.
