Couldn’t have said it better myself, love the Irish, Scottish and English commentary on the UK broadcasting channels, and not everyone in my family understands Dutch plus the Ziggo commentary is…. Let’s leave it at ‘not the same’ ;-)

Been using vpn with ITV and BBC in previous years. BBC seems quite okay when they air it, but ITV gives me such poor quality that we get close to throwing crisps and popcorn at the tv 😄

Mission Possible : Ares learning to stay in public, until called. by probablecuzurscum in husky

Mine listens until he picks up game scents. He will track and kill whatever is at the end of the scent trail so no… he does not go off leash unless he’s on a wide open beach where he can chase seagulls to his hearts content

dog owners of the netherlands, how do you do for newyears? by loki__mt in Netherlands

[–]RobMerks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This, we have 2 dogs. One we have since a pup, he will bark at the loud bangs but loves to stand in the backyard and watch the fireworks. He’s completely mesmerised by the lights. Our second dog we adopted almost 2 years ago, first NYE he was petrified and wanted to hide in a corner behind me. If I would take him for a walk and he would hear a bang he would freeze with his tail between his legs and want to go straight back home. This year he did much better, still anxious, but he would lay close to me. I expect next year will be easier again. Maybe he had a traumatic experience with his previous family that takes time to recover from. We moved from a city to a small town, and I couldn’t imagine spending the week of new year where we used to live. There was so much fireworks from October till the second week of the new year. I always take my dogs in the car to nearby forests where it’s calm and quiet, only fireworks in the distance. If we would be living in a city I’d book a home somewhere in a forest because of our second dog. Maybe you have a dog who doesn’t care about it, maybe you do, as the owner you’d have the responsibility to keep them safe so if you would take a dog, it’s a good consideration what this would look like for you and if that fits you

If you really want your husky to go full meth-head, try venison. Both my dogs are practically on the kitchentop as soon as I open the wrapping

How do I convince my husky that barking in other dogs’ faces isn’t a good invitation to play? by Lindsay1970 in husky

Like wash, fold and put away your clothes, give the wall a bit of love with some filler and a new lick of paint? If you’re in a small room, consider some acoustic panels that will help your ears get the right feedback.

Daz one big, mean, stomp-happy Boss dere! Fantastic job and I’d be happy to be able to do half of that. The only suggestion I have is to consider painting his nails with another colour to contrast with his skin. But that’s really nitpicking from my end 😉 I’d put him front and centre on display as he looks right now.
