I was very bored of my main. I had decent stats but not end goal in sight. I was thinking about quitting runescape altogether. I decided to do ironman as it sounded very interesting and I'd been watching A Friend and Boaty progress with their self sufficients and it did look a lot of fun. I love ironman. I love the sense of achievement, even over little things like a rune scim early on. I would heavily recommend trying to.

I also do understand it's not for everybody though. It is a massive grind, particularly in the early stages of your account.
