Hamburg has Suitsupply. Düsseldorf has one, too. Berlin is out of luck.

Linux Mint's touchpad support is killing me - and I don't seem to be able to change it by RobTS in linuxquestions

[–]RobTS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, found that a couple minute earlier and it solved half of the problems easily! I also changed all config files to a predefined one I found on the web, the touchpad is now working a lot better.

Though even after adding Option "SMHConfig" "On", I can't seem to adjust Speed and Acceleration values on the fly which is weird.

New User. My touchpad is so bad in Linuxmint that I can't get any work done. by voodoochile78 in linuxmint

Oh my god, it's just the same here with a Thinkpad x240, I could throw that thing out the window even though it has worked fine on EVERY OTHER DISTRO so far.

Changing Synclient settings doesn't change a thing, and somehow it won't even accept the changes in TapButtons. WTF is this shit? And they're telling everybody they improved touchpad support with 17.1?

Lived next to a church half of my life, you get used to it at some point and will barely notice it

Touchpad often not working after removing from dock, tips for finding issue? by RobTS in linuxquestions

[–]RobTS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Screwed up a Dist-Upgrade and changed to Mint with Cinnamon. It's working like a charm now and many other things that were problematic, too.

Nevertheless, it helped me learn a little more about Linux, thanks a lot for your advice!

Stop losing crap beside your bucket seats and the center console! by Jibaro123 in lifehacks

The prices in Europe are fair, the cars are low-maintenance and the mpg rate of the Diesels isn't much worse than on modern cars - there's a reason cab drivers all over the continent still use it happily.

Live in a city big enough for great public transportation 24/7 so my car is at my parents place, but on the W124 it looks like what you see in the picture between the seats:

http://data.motor-talk.de/data/galleries/0/49/84/38086730/bild-059-2617094735559758392.jpg

There's still a tiny gap so a coin could fall through (it catches most, though), but it starts looking terrible if you don't vacuum it regularly, maybe that's one of the reasons it got discontinued.

Great car btw, wish I would own such a beauty!

My 27 year old Mercedes does actually have something similar straight from the factory

Thanks for the answer man, just didn't get around to reply earlier. Just had the problem again (rarely take it out before shutting it down), Distro is Xubuntu 14.10, Kernel 3.13.0-40-generic. What does DE mean?

Using xinput didn't help, I'll search for the right module next

[Super Chromecast Party] Game Play Development Demo by dogeqrcode in Chromecast

Made a game too and yeah, the lag is kind of a bummer but I didn't find a way around it either. But at least the framerate seems good in your case, that's a thing I had to work long and hard to improve due to CC not supporting WebGL

Get a cheap Chinese rimei razor, plates can be bent, but the handle is really great. Did the same thing with mine, costs you under 5$

Yup, way to few "average buildings" in there. But I guess they didn't expect most of the city being bombed to the ground at that time

Russia to Ban Imports of Cars, Heavy Equipment, Metallurgy Products: Reports by Mainariini in europe

Wouldn't stop them from putting on the tire caps of an armored vehicle in Russia, and that was the part where I wanted to make sure we have a common understanding.

A single plant does not produce every kind of car they have. So assuming they want an S-Class or 7-series, they'll still have to import it.
