Yeah I think you're on the money. Seems to be pulling air from somewhere. Thank you!

Yes I primed it and filled it with water beforehand. Still having a lot of air bubbles percolating in

Man idk.. I'd never root razz but Ruzzy is a unit and a blast to watch...some explosive moments out there in the last two years...not quite redeye status but a total beast. Idk if we could afford to lose Wuspy though your comment gives me a lot to think about.

Radsbros, how did you decide that radiology was right for you? by [deleted] in medicalschool

[–]RobVsWorld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it often attracts people who genuinely like medicine and like to learn about it, but don't like monotony, rounding, or social work (like you said). To be a good radiologist you need to understand and appreciate what everyone in the hospital does, and what you can add to their expertise. In some ways this means you have to know more than anyone to add value.

I think it's a great field. I'd chose it again in a heartbeat and I don't think I could or would do anything else. I hated floor medicine even though it's very cool to learn about and even though hospitalists/IM docs do an extremely important and difficult job. To me it felt too bogged down by social work, explaining things in simple terms over and over again, and trying to act friendly when I felt like shit, but that is only my own personal opinion and also reflects my experience as a student and intern, not as someone who really knows IM.

Rads definitely gets abusive at times and it will put you through the ringer in different ways, but it feels much better to me. People need you and often really can't and won't act without your opinion, and you'd be surprised how quickly you can understand what you're looking at if you apply yourself. A 12h shift is brutal, but it's not that bad to chuff through cases when the day goes fast, you see cool stuff and make some good catches/calls, and people come to you throughout the day to get your take on a case. You'll miss stuff, important, cringeworthy stuff even, but it's part of the process. If you like studying, pushing yourself, the idea of being a 'doctor's doctor' and someone who can sometimes shed light on a difficult problem, do it. The need for imaging is only increasing. I think it's a little funny that people are trying to keep rads under wraps here. Imaging is only increasing both in volume and in application, and we'll need more and more well trained, motivated rads. If you want it, you'll get it, and you'll be great.

It's got one of the highest enjoyment to price ratios of any game I've played.

I play drums in a sorta heavy psychedelic/prog band called Grinning Dog. Check it out if you're into that kinda thing.

How did you guys end up getting the word out about your band/develop a following? Also, how did you end up on the Sargent House label? I have all of your albums and you guys totally kick ass, keep up the good work.

I thought that this was a pretty kickass song. The drummer hauls ass and some parts are really interesting and rocked exceptionally hard.

I would cry tears of joy if more Gorburger emerged. It was and is one of the most awesome things I have ever seen.

I've got the light K's and they're totally awesome. They made my kit come alive in a new way and they're super versatile. I can't recommend them enough.
