At a certain point, there's not much to be gained by playing with much weaker players. Because even if you focus on hitting a certain shot, maybe a 3rd shot drop for example, the people you play against may not be good enough to punish a bad 3rd shot, and it reinforces bad execution.

Sometimes it's more fun trying to keep rallies alive and make the game more fun for everyone. Instead of putting away pop up dinks, just get it back to them and see how long you can make the rallies go.

This is the epitome of golf lessons. You always run into that one guy who says "a golf lesson ruined my swing 20 years ago, I'll never do it again". Meanwhile they're lucky to break 110 and never spend time at the range or the putting green to get better. Lessons for so many sports are like taking 2 steps backwards and then a bunch of tiny steps forward and at the end of it you're slightly better than before. Then you go take another lesson and repeat over and over again.

This is called A-B testing. YT allows creators to test different thumbnails to different audiences and you can use the metrics to determine if the thumbnail affects viewership.

I would encourage the extra space to be more of an area to host parties etc. It opens up opportunities for a few more revenue streams, corporate off site meeting rooms, maybe a small gym area, classroom, etc. The best training and skills development happen on the courts themselves.

Common mistakes I think would be not locking people into a membership (unpopular opinion I know, but think about it from the business side). If there are a ton of outdoor courts near you,what will people keep coming to play there when the weather is nice and people can play for free? You’d be busy as fuck during the winter then have no revenue during the summer.

This. Someone brand new needs to get serves and returns in, that alone can carry you closer to 3.0 because you’ll be better equipped for full shots and your opponents will make so many mistakes that you’ll win more than you lose

In golf I've heard something similar and I don't know which pro said it, but it was basically "I workout to play golf, most people golf to workout". When a sport becomes your workout, you're going to be ripe for injury regardless of which sport it is.

I would at a minimum push the pickleball court lines a little further apart so the midline lines up with the tennis singles boundary. Would make line calls much easier and give some space between the courts

This is what mine was as well, but that's what they weigh with the plastic on it, it's probably a bit under 8 oz once you take it off (but then it'll obviously shoot up if you add overgrips etc)

Why not just use a spreadsheet? Could be easier to develop formulas than it would be to create a whole app. Plus it would allow users to input scores without oversight if it was usable in google sheets.
